  • where u get them outlaws at??

  • @muddingman12345 , I bought those about 8 years ago when they were still made in the US through my local HOnda dealer. They still looked great with very little wear. Awesome tire. I have since gotten rid of the little 2wd.

  • @muddingman12345 you can get them from highlifter

  • @69fucktheilluminati , you sure can. They are a highlifter product. They are made in japan or china or some crap like that, but they are called highlifter outlaws.

  • just got to say great vid. I got mudbugs on the back of my 2wd Suzuki 250 and it acts just like that 350 did in the video. Sometimes you just have to go where the 4 wheeler takes you! lol anyway way to show up them fancy 4wds, thanks for sharing.

  • Thanks for the help with the exhaust snorkel, got mine on a few months back. But the other day i put the stock tires on the front of my rancher (4x4) to see how it would preform with 26 in. laws in the back stocks up front, but i got in a bind and now my suspension is screwed up??? I wana know if you ever had trouble with that.

  • he has no controll

  • i rode fourwheelers yesterday

  • man i wish i lived in west tennesse looks like you guys have a great time id go riden with you guys all the time o well east tn. is good enough for me

  • k3m3r, they are 26x12x12 outlaws. Awesome on a 2wd.

  • What size outlaws are theses?

  • Ditch the stucklites

  • i like the first guys helmet better.

  • the power of outlaws. Definitely the best tire out there

  • i am thinking bout putting some outlaws on my 2wd rancher looks like he makes it because half of the time the front tires arent on the ground

  • if you know how to ride, you can get through some deep holes wit a 2wd bike!

  • @cajunmudqueen , you are absolutely right about that!!

  • @cajunmudqueen i agree

  • @cajunmudqueen

That is true. However 4wd is nice when going up an incline or haulling a trailer.

  • does that 350 just have a custom snorkel welded to a stock exhaust?cuz im thinkin bout doin that and i wana know how it sounds

  • @xXRaJuNxCaJuNXx ,yeah man. I just had it welded to the stock exhaust. It worked great. The sound did not change much but I did think it sounded a little better.

  • @mudpimp thanks can u tell me what size pipe u used i want 2in. so it will sound deeper than 1.5in but i dunno

  • @xXRaJuNxCaJuNXx , anytime pal. I do believe it was 2in. I love the exhaust snorke. It gives u peace of mind.

  • 2wd suck lol no offense still nice ridin

  • thems som sick tires on that 350

  • what size is the outlaws

  • Hwy man, those tires are 26x12x12. I have had them on there for 8 years. They are great on my 2wd. I love it

  • @mudpimp yeah they are badass

  • my rancher got stuck not long ago and my tire came off so yall are lucky that dosent haben to u

  • It has happened to me. I had just put new rims on the back and all but one lug nut came off. It ruined my rim bent my studs, but I was able to find one more lug nut and able to get a stud through the hole to get me back to the trailer. Lucky for me, I was already on my way out and was not too far from the truck.

  • im jus akid what does a clutch kit do

  • I clutch kit will allow the engine to rev to a higher RPM before the automatic clutch engages and turns the tires. So when you give it gas and the tires start to spin they will spin faster at take off. I hope that makes since. I am sure there is a better or more technical way to explain it. Keep in mind that it does not give you more power. Kind of like a stall converter on a automobile. The tires wont spin until it reaches a certain/higher RPM.

  • does he have a clutch kit on the 350 to turn those tires

  • No, I do not have a clutch kit. Its bone stock. However, I only need the power to turn two tires. Its only a 2wd.

  • oh its milky haha

  • Im sending you a private message with my # for you to call me.

  • also can you tell me all about snorkles. even if you have a snorkle if your atv cuts off its still would go in the exhaust. how deep can you go with a snorkle?

  • hey my friends rancher 420 was doin water wheelies and it cut off. we drain the airbox and it started right up but there was quite a bit of water in the airbox. is there any i should worry about. also later on we open ithe airbox and found like a yellowish slime in there. and drained that. was that oil?? if a atv stalls in water is that mean the atv is ruined?

  • He needs to check the oil. If itsmilky looking then he dont need to ride it at all. That means he has water n his oil. The yellowish slime could b from the water mixing with motor oil & the oil that is n the airfilter to keep out dust & dirt. He needs to check the rear & front differential gear oil too. If its milky it needs to b changed. If it stalls n water that doesnt mean its ruined but if its not cleaned out well enough it will eventually start to smoke. U cant just change the oil & b done.

  • so wat should we do?

  • check the oil and diff fluids 1st and make sure they arent milky. Check the dip-stick. How long has it been since his last oil change? Its not that expensive to cahnge the oil, I would go ahead and drain it and see what it looks like.

  • well thank you for your time and advice. i appreciate your time. dealing with me haha. im goin to go ahead with the zillas. theyre light, good tread, and are used by many so yeah

  • Hey man, anytime! I always enjoy helping people and I love talking about atv's. I believe you will be happy with the zillas. If it were me I would go 8 or 10's in the front and 12's in the back.

  • alrite. umm i want an agressive tire. are the zillas any good. i want a nice size lug. thats good for mud and all terrain. are they better than swamplties? ive been with alott of people with swamplites and i dont want to lag behind or get stuck often. i need to keep up or perform better than swamplites.

  • The swamplite arent a bad tire, they just dont last as long as a lot of the others. They r light but not as light as the zillas. They do run bigger than their size. A 27" swamplite is probably 1/4 to 1/2 size taller, which is good. Zillas seem to b the tire of choice for a lot of boggers (next to the outlaws, which is the best mud tire on the market). U should give a good look at the mudtrax. My choice would b in this order: outlaw, mudtrax, zilla, swamplite. Outlaws are heavier but r the best.

  • 4wd

  • Ok, then he should not put the new tires on until he has all four the same heigth. If he does then the front and rear will be trying to turn at different ratios when he is in 4wd. It will tear his atv up.

  • I just dont want to sound pushy. I have my favorites when it comes to tires. I used to run 27X8X12's Vampires on my old Honda 500 Foreman and I did not care for them. They rode very rough. They pulled good but had no side bite. They were very heavy too. Again, great allterrains that perform very well in the mud and arent too heavy are: zillas, mud trax, mud lite XTR's. I dont mention swamplites because they wear out too fast so I dont like to recommend them.

  • right. so all he has to do is buy (2) 27x10x11 vamps for the rear of the rancher 420. then later he can put 27x10x12 in the front. right?

  • well he needs to keep the same height tire all around so it does not damage the drive-train. It is not good to run 27" in the back and 25's in the front on a 4wd. You are right about the the size to put on the rear and the front, but he needs to put the tires on all at the same time. Is your friend aware that vamps are very heavy and they have no side lug? Wouldnt be my 1st choice for sure. But I understand it is not mine.

  • Im sorry, but did you say it was a 2wd or a 4wd?

  • he can go 27x10x12 on an 11 inch rim?

  • The 1st # is the tire heigth. The 2nd # is the width of the tire and the last # is the rim size. So the number you posted means that the tire is 27" tall x 10" wide on a 12" rim. If you had an 11" rim is would read like this... 27x10x11.

  • you cannot put 27x10x12 on an 11 inch rim.

  • Comment removed

  • its a fourwheel drive. but he wants something simliar to your 350 rancher. he wants just 27x10x11 in the rear. since his stock rims are 11. and then later he wants too buy tires for the front.

  • The rims should be 11" in diameter. The 10 means that the tire is 10" wide. He can still go with a 12" wide tire on that rim. Tell him to go to a honda deaer and deal with them on a pair of pull offs or try ebay. Because so many people are buying new rims and tires, there are a lot of stock when out there for sale.

  • yea i was thinkn 27-9-12 front 27-11-12 in the back for zillas. but i want to know how well the zillas perform. i mostly ride in mud and water

  • It's a toss up for me between the zillas an the mud tax. The zillas are light but I cant see that perform any better than the mud trax. All we do is ride in mud and water and both tires do great. All I know is that I see how awesome the mud trax do on a 2x4, so I could only imagine how they would do on a 4x4. I think the zillas do well, but I personally like the mud trax better. If weight is your # issue, then go with the zillas. They r the lightest. You can also get a 12" wide in the zilla.

  • the side lug is realy what your looking for.. the mudtrax goes in that category real good and the zillas .. dont get me wrong they are good tires but they dont have all that much of a side lug.. in my opinion i say you go with the mudtrax.. you will only be losing 0.5 inch of clearance so it realy aint gone hurt you much..

  • Yes, you can put 26-12-12 on the rear of a rancher. Is ours a 2wd? IF so that great cause then you only have to buy tires and rims for the rear only. If you want a good mud, trail, snow tires try the mud trax. Great tire and wears good.

  • im lookin to buy new tires for my honda rancher 420. i was looking at swamplites, zillas, and mudlites. i want a nice size tire, but dont want to lose to much power. i was looking to go 26 inch but i want 27. can i go 27?

  • Hey pal, u sure can go 27's. If it were me, I would go with either the zilla's or take a look at the 26" Mud Trax by STI. Swamplites r pretty good tires but they wear out too fast in my opinion. Zilla's will b the lightest tire out there but dont have a lot of side lug. Mud Trax r great all around. They r a bit heavier but perform great! My brother runs 26x11x12's on his 2x4 420. Dont go with mudlites. Check out my vids. I have a video on the 420 with Mud Trax on there. Let me know what u think.

  • Also, go with a 12/10 or a 11/9 set up. That is what Ilik to do. 12 on the back and 10 on the front or 11 on the back and 9 on te front. I personally dont like 8's or 9's all around. Thats just me though. Letme know what u decide.

  • by the way. the red 420 in this video has swamplites and is running in 4 wheel drive. I am on the green 2 wheel drive and I thinkI go through it easier. Yeah I know I got outlaws but he still has 4wd. Im just dont care for the swamplite.

  • hey im looking at buying some gator tires you told me the sizes were different then they say they are so what size would 27x 10x 12 realy be thanks

  • Hey carter, sorry for the delay in my response. Ive been out of town. A 27x10x12 would only be 8" wide and about 26 1/4 tall. Depends on how much air pressure you run. Might be shorter or might get it to set at 26 1/2 with more air. If you want a wider tire get the 12 wide though they actually measure only 10" wide.

  • have you ever popped any of those swamplites before?...or are they really durable?

  • I have never seen a swamlite tire failure. I just think they wear out too fast.

  • haha 350's rule, proves its got the power but just needs the 4x4. nice vid.

  • someone please tell me are maxxis tires any good

  • Which tire by Maxxis are you asking about? I love the zillas and mudbugs. A lot of people run the bighorns and mudzillas. Mudzilla is one of the heaviest tires on the market and the Zilla is one of, if not THE lightest tires on the market. What type of riding do you do?

  • hell yea tere good

  • will 12inch rancher wheels fit a recon?

  • They should. I put 12" rims on my old rancher.

  • man i have to say that mudlite tires and outlaws are the best tires out there for muddin atvs

  • I do agree about the outlaws but I'm not on board with the mudlites. The mudlite xtr's are pretty good tires though.

  • I hope you mean the mudlites are the WORST tires out there for mudding lol. Outlaws and silverbacks are the only pure mud tires imo

  • i'm in complete agreement. i have 27 outlaws. mudlites aren't that impressive.

  • mudlites are way better for when you start trying to go up rocky hills... especially if you don't have power steering. They're a better all around tire IMO but they still have big enough lugs to handle 90% of the mud out there. Trust me I ride an 09 420 Canadian trail edition and the only real competition to best my quad is a thundercat 1000 that also rides mudlites.

  • whoo!!! canadian trail edition, huh? a thundercat? no bike is very much competition if he has the same tires as you!!! it don't matter how big the motor is if you can't get the horsepower to the ground!

  • man that 350 rancher got some nice back tires but i like mine better i have mud lites 22" i have a yamaha 350 warrior

  • no not michell its luke he has a white brute. we r out here in collierville

  • u guys r in memphis right?

  • yeah man, we r riding in memphis at covington pike in these vids.

  • i live near memphis too. my friend has a brute 750 sinch lift 30 mud lites brain box snorkatl ss rims its is awsome.

  • Where do yall live? AR or MS. Your buddy's name isn't Michael is it?

  • i got a honda 400 rancher AT 4x4 all stock u think 27 outlaws will fit on da back witout a lift

  • 27 outlaws will fit without a lift. How wide are you going to run. 12 wides in the rear will rub your exaust heat shield and exhaust.

  • i have a 420 rancher 4x4 what tires should i get 4 it

  • What type of riding will you be doing?

  • ive got the 26" mudlite xtrs on there now actually

  • would they fit without a lift?

  • I do know 29.5 swamplites will fit without a lift and they are actually taller than the 30" mud lites. I do not like either though. There are much better tires on the market than the mudlites. The mudlite xtr's are better than the regular mudlites but more expensive. I personally would not choose the mudlites. Just my opinion. A lot of people run them though. Just not my 1st choice.

  • thanks baylin54. I appreciate it.

  • what do u think is best for my brute 750? all i do is mud

  • in my opinion, the best mud tire is the oulaw but it is very aggressive and can be hard on your equipment. Im running Gators on my Teryx and they do good. I love the Mudtrax and the Mudgear do great too. The Mudwolf looks nice as well. Those are my picks. Outlaw#1 aggressive tire. Mudtrax allterrain and mud, Zillas are good too and light. Tough choice.

  • get the 30 inch mud lites, they are light in weight and great gripped tires

  • i got ur messeage i just neeed a swnorkel kit bad cuase were i ride its all water

  • What state do you live and ride? If you live in or around Memphis , TN I could meet up with you. Its hard to tell someone how to make a snorkel kit without seeing the atv. I will try to post some pictures to your page to show you how I did mine. Can you get some pictures of your airbox and where your factory intake tube runs and stops. Should be under or around the top of your gas tank.

  • can u instruct me on how to make a snorkel kit

  • Which tire would you recommend for a rancher 420. ill i do is go mudding . i was looking at swamplites or mudlites. wanna run 27s or 28s

  • Would not ever buy swamplites, Mud lites are not hat great either. In the category you mentioned, I would choose either Zillas or Mudtrax. Mudtrax would probably be my first choice. My brother runs them on his 420 2wd. Check out my video of them. Mudtrax are awsome. Zillas are lighter. I would go with 26" or 27" tires. too big robs too much power. Mudgear are awesome too but heavy.

  • You cant go wrong with outlaws if you want to go aggressive but they are heavier and ride rough. They will be a little harder on your atv, but I will tell you that those 420's are tough.

  • Comment removed

  • Thanks, ive been comparing and pricing all the different mud tires. i like the zillas and i going for them . its a tough atv liking it alot , just wondering if the 27s will effect the rancher, in power ?

  • Comment removed

  • i want to ride wit u guys but i need a snorkel kit and u tell me wat system will be best and not cost efective for my suzuki ozaark 250

  • you can ride with us anytime. We build our own snorkel kits. Its not hard to do.

  • will i lose any power going with zillas on a 420 rancher?

  • I would say probably not much if any at all. It depends what size you go with. Naturally if they are heavier than your stock ones, you will see a little bit of a difference. The zilla's are said to be the lightest aftermarket mud tire on the market, so they are a great choice in the weight category. What size are you going to buy?

  • get some executioners

  • are swamplites or zillas lighter?

  • I do believe zillas are lighter. I know they will last longer too. Swamplites run big, which is good. However they need to run big because they wear down so fast.

  • niceeee i went bogging yesterday in truck o and cussing willnot be tolerated=)

  • i have a 420 rancher does anyone know if i can have 28 inch tall mudzillas without a lift or do i need to go 27 or less? and do i need wheel spacers to have 12 inch wide tires or not? i have a feeling they might rub when i turn

  • If it were me, I would not go with 28's. I would do 27 or smaller. I would run 12" in the rear and 10" in the front. If you choose 12" all around, Wheel spacers might be needed... not sure. Do you know that mudzillas are very heavy and will rob your power? If I were going to spend that much money on a tire and go that aggressive, I would go with Outlaws. Good luck!

  • did the 350 seal off the pull astarter if so how did he do it?

  • At first I did not then when I had a seal replaced, I just put a sealant in the drain hole and around the pull rope. Not sure how well it works.

  • is that ben?he used to work on my honda!!

  • Naw, neither of those guys names are Ben

  • haha i got a honda rancher 350 es 4x4 with a 2 inch lift ss 212 rims and 27-10-12 dirt devils on the ront and 27-10-12 swamp pros on the back and that fucker will roll but its kinda slow and a cople of days ago i was fuckin around and diggin ruts in the sand and i had it goin like 23 in like 3rd gear diggin out the rut and it shut off as quiet as could be and tried to crank it back up and it made some loud ass grindin nosies and wouldnt start... what do yall think is wrong with it?

  • WOW, easy on the language. I had a 500 Foreman 2wd that the engine failed. I thought it was a timing chain that broke and it turned out to be a stuck valve that just destroyed the engine. The piston smashed the valve mangling it, crushed the top of the rod, disintegrated the pin that connects the piston and the rod together. It was a total loss. Hopefully your wont be that bad. Maybe its just a timing chain or a broke ring or something minor. Either way it'll probably be minimum $500 fix.

  • yea on all the new hondas ur suppose to have the same size all the way around! only on the 300 an an some of the older fourwheelers r u suppose to have smaller in the front than the back

  • Can someone help me? Im getting an atv but i dont know what is the best atv to get, this is between a Yamaha 350 4X4 auto Grizzly, a Honda 420 4X4 ES Rancher, and a Polaris 300 4X4 auto Sportsman, and lastly the Honda 250 2X4 ES Recon. I am 15 5'4" and about 165lbs, the things that i would be doing is basically riding it on trails but not mud bogging in but for sure going through "some" mud and also this in TX so those type of trails if you know what im talking about. Please help idk about dis

  • i know how you feel i am in that situation to. My dad has the rancher 420 Es 4x4 and i ride it im 14 and i love it it handles great responsive throttle and gets through some pretty nice mud. I Dont know the other atv's cuse i hve never rode them but the rancher is never nice.

  • Thanks for the help :)

  • I like the Yamaha 400 BigBear better than the Grizzly. It comes stock with mudlite tires, has independent rear suspension(IRS) and front diff-lock. Its not auto but thats what I prefer (more durable, you dont have to worry about belt slip, getting it wet or smoking it). The 420 is fast and the feul injection, is very responsive. It has a straight axle, which is better for trail riding because you dont have a lot of body roll, but I prefer IRS. It doesnt have a diff-lock and it needs one.

  • My brother has a 2wd 420 and it will go anywhere he needs it to go. He runs 26X11-12 STI MudTrax on it and it will handle the mud awesome too. If you do more trail riding, that is what I would buy and I think they are on sale for about $3299 (thats an awesome price), thats not much more that the 250 Recon, which you would out grow too fast. The Recon is a peppy little atv, but I would not buy it. Buy something you can grow with. I would not buy the Polaris. They are too heavy. Just my opinion.

  • Hey check out my other video. This one has the 2wd I was talking about. Check it out. Its the video labeled "ATV Mud Riding, 420, Foreman, Razor, King Quad" He comes in at about 3min in the video. Its a 2wd and he is the only who went through it both ways and he does not even have super aggressive tires, but it will go!! My 350 Rancher in the video here is only a 2wd.

  • get the honda 420 cuz the honda is the best big that lasts

  • i jus put swamplites on my 87 lt 4wd 250

  • what size?

  • front 22 11 10

    rear 25 12 10

  • shouldnt you run the same hieght for both front and rear. I would think that would tear your drivetrain up.

  • im sorry i entered it wrong the fronts are 22 8 10s and the cv boot ripped so i need a new one other wise for the year it runs great

  • Wow I sure am glad to see a 4x2 kickin ass I have a 420 rancher 2007 and i went cheap when I bought it been runnign stocks for the past yr but know im makin alot more money and I ordered 26inch mudzillas all around haha hope it goes well! and a bunch of leds and stuff pimpin it out =)

  • i have 25x12x10 on my honda ranher 2wd with no lift... i wouldnt recommend getting them 10 inches wide... they digg to much when there skinny... im about to get 26 inch outlaws or vampires for the rear

  • I'm running 26X12-12's Outlaws on my 2wd Rancher and it will flat out go. (i bought 12" aluminum wheels) Folks cant believe its only a 2wd. 12 wide is the only way to go on a 2wd. Outlaws are better than vampires in my opinion.

  • thanks no im gettin 25x8x10 front but i might get 26s now that u said it and ill look into the sti

  • Good luck. You will love the STI Mud Trax. They only come in 26 and 27 tall and 11" wide. They look big too. 26" will be fine. The 27" only fits a 14" rim.

  • do i need a lift for 25x10x12 itp 589 on stock rancher or will they fit

  • Not at all. You could go at tall as 27's without a lift. 589's are great pulling tires, but not much side bite. Are you putting 12 wides on the front as well? I like the Mudtrax made by STI. My brother has them on his 2wd 420.

  • lol... i have a honda rancher 350 4x4 and i have got it like almost to the handlebars in water... hondas are great!!!!!on yours did you have to put any engine mods on it to be able to run the bigger tires,, i was wondering bcuz iwas thinking of getting outlaws111 great vid =-)

  • Thanks. On my 2wd 350 Rancher, I have no mods at all. I did finally put an intake snorkel on it after 7 yrs and I have an exhaust snorkel that I put on a couple yrs ago. Other than that, no engine mods. I guess because I'm only turning the rear wheels and not all 4, what I have works fine. Sure I would love more power but its stock. The outlaws are 26X12-12. I've seen a 350 4wd run 25 or 26 outlaws. It will surely rob your power but I've seen it done. Good luck! ;-)

  • have u ever broke eney thing

  • I have been very blessed. I have not broken an axles, tie-rod ot anything. This 350 Rancher has been a tank. I had the Outlaws on there for 6 years before I had to replace bearings. It did start smoking on me last year and I had to put new rings, piston and valve seals in it. That was only because my nephew swamped it one day on accident. It has been an awesome atv.

  • Ok I know ur running 26x12-12 outlaws on back but what size are the fronts?? Are they still stock tires ?

  • Oh sorry, I am running 25X8-12 Kenda Bear Claws on the front. My stock tires were worn and I needed some new ones. So I decided to go with these because they were just as cheap as a silly stick tire. They were thicker ply, tougher tires and gave me better steering. You could go 26" tall and gain a little more front end clearance.

  • i have a 93 honda 300 4x4 would the bear claws be good for light mud riding/ trail ride and not tear the yard up? im running 11inch rims

  • I love the bear claws. I think they are a great little tire and tough as nails. They are great on all terrain and they will do good in the mud as well. They run a little short and have a little weight to them but I think you will love them. Most aftermarket tires will chew up the yard a little but the bear claw is not as bad as the very aggressive ones.

  • thats a bad ass 350

  • do thay stilll have good tred

  • They do still have great tread. On one of my other videos you can actually see the tread pretty good. Its the one where me and my buddy on his Foreman with swamplites on it play in a hole.

  • WAT SIZE OUTLAWS

  • They are 26X12-12 Outlaws. I've had them on my Rancher for 7 years. They are awesome!! Money well spent.

  • Iv been through some crazy stuff on my 2wd bruin 350, And even though its just a 2wd I bumped up the tires to 28mudlites, and it just floats now lol

  • I know I have shocked some folks on my 2wd. Some people really underestimate them. They are a blast.

  • It's about time someone can navigate a 2WD through some deep mud. I have a Honda 420 Rancher 07 2WD and it's a beast in the mud. Needs proper tires though. GREAT VID!
