It's a decent dice rolling game at the core, but lavishly wrapped in potent theme. The artwork on everything is amazing.
Personally I find it a little too easy, what with just bringing in a new charecter when your origional one dies. For a solid game with some tension and difficulty, just stick to any origional players you choose at the start. If they die its game over. Otherwise its a cakewalk.
I disagree that you get "less game experience" with more players. Everyone gets to do the same stuff, just less often. So the real difference? With more players Elder Sign is less repetitive.
I still wouldn't accuse Elder Sign of being a GREAT game, just a GOOD game. Which, at least, isn't a BAD game.
And WOOT for Eric Summerer, THE VOICE of the Dice Tower!
Alien Frontiers on the table, yay!!!

I have to admit I went into this video a little wary of Elder Sign, but now it is certainly on my 'must check out' list.
