use a foam sponge, apply hand soap to it, and wet it. Then, squeeze it. Now using the sponge dab the head band then lightly scrub with gentle pressure. then wet the headband only. then dry with a towel and let it dry. This technique even works with my white plattans. but your ear cups are screwed forever though.
Also, try to place the ear cups a bit lower and further back a little bit.

Don't buy these from Apple. The Apple version is made specifically for them and doesn't come with the neutral plug so your music will sound very flat and muddy. I'm returning mine for this reason but also for some of the reasons stated in this video. This guy isn't kidding, they look great but are painful to wear after a few minutes. They also don't sit well around your neck. Too much fabric also (on the headband and wire) to get worn and stained. I can't imagine someone buying these in white.

It looks like you've got the old version cos you've got the ones with the silver frame bit for adjusting the length.
On the newer version that silver bit is the same colour as the rest. I heard alot of bad things about these old ones likes yours. The new ones which I bought about 2 weeks ago are fantastic from what I've seen/heard so far. Will see how they hold up a few months down the line..
Plattan actually is a semi-famous location in Swedish capital Stockholm, part of a town square notorious for housing a lot of drug deals.
