@Dr0deg I was going in the spirit of that I've never met a single woman who has loved zombies. Almost every single woman I know from my sister to my coworkers all love either the Harry Potter series or the Twilight series. Harry Potter = forgotten in 5 years like the LOTR is being forgotten. Twilight = forgotten in 10 years. Zombies have been ressurected in the last 10 years and even though the genre is kinda heading for a low period, the Walking Dead series is helping to keep it alive.

Wouldn't a regular boltaction rifle be a better choice, since it takes some time to reload a musket? I mean for me personally, I'd want a Marine M40 or a Barret M82(/a1) :) Would be hard to get unless you lived near a military base. But I'm sure some gun shop in NY would have one :P

i mean you can' t jam a machette into a zombie but you can't slash it it in the neck then drop it to the floor and saw its head off.

musket is fun to hav, but not practical, carrying anything long would get in the way, i would choose a sawn off shotty, faster to reload too. I agree with solar pad but its not that common that you can whisk off to a shop and get one. Same to water purifying steps...who has those and knows how to get them??

ive read Day by Day, it's ok. starts out great, but gets dull pretty fast. the whole book's a play-by-play. WWZ is in my opinion the best zombie novel out there, does an excellent job of depicting what might really happen, on both a global and a personal scale, if zombies almost took over the world.
