@anden191 on the real steal firearm it has quite alot of recoil so while you shoot with 1 hand to pull the trigger and such the other hand grabs the "backgrip" and you get more stability, can handle recoil a little better, and when you have the bipod out its a little easyer to control sway and whut not.

you can't say that one is more accurate than the other, when you are swapping the sights. Once you sight your scope into a rifle, if you take it off, you have to re-sight it back in! it will be innaccurate if you place it back onto the rifle and not sight it in!

@DontCallMeJustin The grip at the back of the LSW is for gripping. In the british military when you are shooting prone with the bipod out, you use your left hand to hold that grip to help reduce recoil and hold the weapon more steady. Theres a bit of firearm information for you.

@PotatoSponge Now here's a bit of mg info for you. The rear-mounted vert grip is held in the left hand & you fire the weapon with the right (if RH). The left forearm will be stretched across your chest. This will take getting use to & feel "weird" to most marksmen. While awkward at 1st, it does a great job to help support the rifle's weight NOT recoil since your shoulder is a much more capable shock absorber than your hand, especially, for most, your weak hand. "Sweeping" is also made easier.

The AR-18 uses a varient of the Tokarev Gas system. The reason they chose that system is because the AR-18 is meant to be a cheap more reliable version of the AR-15. And the Tokarev system was chosen because it was proven by time.

dont know what your talking about the scar is taking over the US armies marine forces, it is becoming standard issue for over 10000 troops in the US and counting, i also have one myself, as well as many other airsofters in the world. The L85/6 is the main weapon of choice of the british army, so prettty much eveyrone knows about it. both guns can be found for as little as 25 dollers, or up to 500 for things like ares or G&G. Now the third one i agree, but still, you should have done some reseach

It is not taking over anything but the place of ageing M14s and M21s.

Like the other guy said, you can buy real steel airsoft guns in many countries. Something you can't do with a real firearm is shoot around without lots of care. You can't have fun with others. You can't go around shooting people and simulating say urban warfare with real firearms, which is very dangerous. Search some airsoft games on YouTube. It's just expensive fun, and really the closest to the real thing. Plus, not all firearms are legal in some countries, and not full-auto.
