You guys had a very good idea, but you held yourself back by using a dated hardware, instead of using the current gaming software which is available for the pc, and I'm sure you wouldn't be sued for making hardware for a game. I think you should try the same approach with the gun controller, and the motion firefly in a 3D world, it would give you much more freedom and ideas, and no constraints.
