i use paint for animating i'm just so used to it... its not that bad i guess since you can erase certain colors so theres KINDA layers on tht. i wish i could find the new version of it that actually has layers. but until then. i use pencil for making "realism" pictures :3

@anyssae pencil u can't really add adiuo (cant spell it) just songs primarily. but you can upload it to imovie or windows movie maker, and add voice there.

dud, my volume was on high and 80 because someone was watching TV so when the "help me help you" came on I totally freaked out and threw my headphones on the ground. Andwhat was worse, my tablet pen was hovering somewhere and i tried using the mouse to turn the volume down but it wouldn't move! Lol

what about syncing with a still image with moving lips? anime's do this all the time to save time. Also, it would be good if you could use the programs own interface to import images instead of dragging from desktop etc. as this is a multiplatform program and some people don't have "desktops". apart from this, and the itunes intervention (gah!), and that what I really wanted was for the teddy bear to talk in lipsync. this was a helpful tutorial and you are a talented artist so, keep it up :)

@Salamenceiscool1 Well, you still have the files though, right? Like they're saved? Because that's happened to me before too (Scary, right), so what I do is I uninstall the program, then re-install. From there on it's worked great. Sometimes pencil glitches I guess!

@iliveunderyourbed16 BMP and JPEG are ALWAYS the best. And its actually really easy to convert, all you need to do is open up the file on paint (or whatever photo-editing program you use) and then click save as, and be sure to name it and then add either .BMP or .JPEG at the end!

@mitzymoonina Because its so ridiculously easy, I figure anyone with a working brain can figure it out. There's an "export" button for christ sake! It says "as movie" or "as still images" and you pick one. If you can't figure that out on your own, thats your own fault, is it not?

It's different for Mac and Windows users. Macs can export easily, but with Windows it's a LONG process during which everything can, and probably will, go wrong. So try to see what exactly is wrong before calling someone brainless.

@marshmallowwolf what format is it in. I have the same problem in WMM if its not in WAV file it wont play. So if u have audacity (this is just to be safe) import the song. Then go to export-export as WAV. and there ya go ^^ it sould play

@BloodWingStar pencil saves it own file, you just have to open up pencil and manually open your last saved file with "open recent" and when you export the video file if u hav mac you can save to .mov if it's windows so far it has to be .flv (they havent ported stuff yet) so if you have VLC and/or Avidemux you can convert the flv to something else

@Hydragreekfire I never use vectors, sorry D: They're too mechanical. And sticky blood you just use your paint brush tool, and put it on a high feather. That's how I do it anyway.

@Wolfstar789 On Windows, the movie export function doesn't work, so you have to export it as a flash file. Then, convert the flash file to a SWF file (Use "Flash-to-SWF-Converter") , but I'm not sure that Windows Movie Maker can take SWF files. I've never tried it. :C

If it does work, you can save the animation as a WMV file by clicking "save to my computer" under "Finish Movie". You can upload it to YouTube now. :3
