One thing that you don't do when you play is the little slap thing. If you've ever played bass, it's like slapping in slap and pop. Instead of plucking it with your thumb, slap the bass note (The 6th string in this case) with the side of the knuckle in the middle of your thumb. It gives a cool percussion sound to it.

Nice video. But two things. It's a lot easier to play all the notes on the E string with your thumb. If possible. And your right hand is Thumb, 1st, Thumb, 1st. And then the last two chords are actually rakes with your thumb. Thats how John does it. But It sounds great anyway.

Just a tip: some of the chords you've shown are 'worded' a bit more "complicatedly" than necessary, makes some things hard to follow! Just something I noticed, could be just me, I don't know! :P

Just for example: Eb/C = Cm7

Fsus4/Ab could be Ab6/9

Ebsus4/F could be Fm11

Just little things like that make the harmonic structure more obvious if you see what I mean! :)

Your're great man. If i had three hands i would give u a triple thumbs up! Most videos are hard to learn from but u make neon feels like a breeze. i've pretty much gotten the concept in half an hour. there's no higher praise than that. thumbsthumbs up!

Nice video man. The only thing I don't agree with is your fingering of the sus chords. You should either bar that fret with your index finger and use your middle finger on the B string, or fret the 6th string with your thumb and cover the D and G strings with your index finger, and use your middle finger for the B string. By tying up all those fingers for those two chords, your rhythm sounds a little disconnected, and you lose the freedom to make the bass sound independent
