If you are on original fable, not lost chaptures, use slow time spell in knolothal glade and the timer acualy goes slower. Other places might do the same thing but I am not sure.

Before you give the dolls to the teacher sell them to the Bowerstone North Shop, then steal the dolls back, DON"T buy them, when you have all of them back, this doesn't work with the Scythe doll, give them to the teacher. He will give you the JoB doll, now go back to the Bowerstone North shop and buy back the other dolls. Then you'll have all the Hero dolls except for Scythe

OK i collected all the hero dolls and traded them for the Jack of Blades doll. Just one question. WHAT GOOD IS THE JACK DOLL?

I mean ,you can set dolls to hotkeys but, what is the point of the Jack doll? can i use it for some secret quest somewhere? Does some other npc want it?

I just don't see the point of spending hours doing this quest to get a Jack doll if it doesn't do anything but sit in my inventory?

Not really... Also the armor set-up in Fable 2 is a peice of shit... There is no Plate armor... You get all this shit clothing in Fable 2... Oh you can change the colors of them with dyes..
