Ganoderma has many variants with powerful medicinal properties. The most common in my part of the country(southwest Ohio) is "Ganoderma adspersum" which I harvest from the wild and make into a tea combined with "Trametes versicolor" and "Griffola frondosa". After only a few weeks of consumption, my short term memory and mental clarity improved markedly, and I have a overall better sense of well being. I am convinced of the value of these mushrooms, and will continue to use for life.
