If Aristotle and Alexander the Great were alive today, a Greek person would be able to have some sort of conversation with them. You, on the other hand, would need a translater, since your slav-base language did show up in that region until 1,000 years after Alexander's death.

If anything, they can all claim Alexander as their own more then you can, since their languages were in those regions before he conquered them. The reason why they don't claim him as their own is this, unlike your nation, they all had rich histories that they were proud of before he got there.

Even if he continued he would propably lose cause all indian kingdoms united and mobilised an army of 200k men and over 20k elephants against him.
