Nice vid. I'm trying to wrap my head around writing my own c++ ripple gait atm. Very clear to see the orientation of yours. Correct me if i'm wrong but is that an alternating tripod that ripples on leg 1,2,3 or is it sequenced on a 1,3,6,2,4,5 type?

Pretty cool control with the Wiimote and Nunchuk. Sounds kinda like a horse walking down a street, only bit more of a heavier sound to it.

the movements arent even in sync with what buttons you are pushing or in the same directions. hell, most the time you aint even pushing anything. YOU KNOW DAMN WELL the wii remote isnt making that thing move. and tilt ing the controller and so stupid. You would have to have a sensor bar or something setup for that to even work, not to mention the programming for that feature. stop trying to act like the wii remote is moving it. u aint foolin me..

Most RC robots are meant to be controlled from behind. The robot is looking at him, so, movement is reversed. The Wii Remote tilt controls are contained entirely within the device. The sensor bar on a Wii doesn't receive any data. It transmits an infared light to the Wiimote that tells it where it's pointing. Wiimotes can be interfaced with any bluetooth enabled hardware. (My friend got one to sync with his cell phone.) Think before you comment.

hmm, it seems to loop specific motion whenever the joystick isn't in center, but the sideways motion of the legs is controlled directly from the remote.

It is all directly controlled by the remote. check my other video's with the PS2 remote. It's a newer version of the software but it works the same way ;)
