Anyway if PS Stix build their factory legitimately under government law, then I guess they've done nothing wrong. However, if for example, the law says the factory can only run from 6:30am to 5pm, but they run until 9pm, then I definitely think you have the right to complain.

Anyway, that's simply what I think.

I had a deck produced in that factory and it was complete GARBAGE. I wish they'd close the factory too and return to making decks where they have been. Trying to cash in on cheap labor and skirting environmental regulations by leaving the country is cheapening the quality and integrity of the decks.

Big thumbs down on them for this.

You guys on here have NO THOUGHT for other ppl's lives. You need to step back & take a long, hard look at the situation. Place yourself in this persons situation & then decide whether or not YOU could live next to that factory. They were there long b4 the factory opened & they have a RIGHT to complain if its causing the inconvenience that its so obviously is.

PS Stix should have realised b4 that opening a factory this close to homes is wrong, & they should have picked a site further away.

Its not just about what hrs you work or the noise, or did you not read what ameyalli3 wrote? Its also causing HEALTH problems & spreading unecessary mess into their private living areas. These are things that you would soon complain about if it were happening to you, so stop being so selfish & start thinking of other ppl in this world.

Please don't misunderstand I hate complainers, but like you, I wish the government would close the factory.

Then we can all watch as the economy of Mexico sinks like a big rock in water. If the NAFTA agreement is cancelled your nice life as you know it would change.

You might even starve , but at least you would have no dust.

The containers are marked with flamable No.3 signs.

And even if its made on a base of water, its still paint :S petroleum derivative.

The container filled with wood dust.. thats not flamable?

And dont call me a child mister im older than you think, im not poor, half of my relatives are born US citizens and i go to shop at Wal-Mart and i eat in your McDonalds every now and then. So im hepling your economy too.

Our issue is between the factory and our home and my asthma. Not countries

This factory did make the same things, with the same machines in the US. I visited that building also.

You called at 9PM, they close at 5PM, are you mad because no one answered?

Your problem is with the government, they allow the business to be close to the homes. STIX is doing nothing wrong only what they are allowed to do.

Try to remember a lot of money from places like Stix goes to the goverment to pay for things like your education...

And well we really dont care about the money in this case, you seem to think our street is poor or something so stop mentioning economics to me.

We only care about that wood dust, the paint and the noise.

my parents have full time jobs and i go to school,

in fact all of the people that live here.

we come from work and school to hear that and smell the wood dust and the paint

every day

The US businesses working in Mexico pay taxes and employ people in Mexico who also pay taxes, unlike the people that are sitting at home complaining, these comapnies make a very large contribution to the overall economy of Mexico bringing in millions of dollars which makes Mexico a better place for everyone including you...!

The shop only works during normal business hours, if you had a normal daytime job you wouldn't even know that the factory is there....

and we did research...

the factory started working and hiring people before they had all their permissions in order.

that means they didnt pay taxes until we called to goverment to check

I've been to their factory too and the factory doesn't make any more noise than any other factory, it only operates during the normal working hours of most people, never past 5 like you have said.

The paint is environmentally safe and registered which is the same as the paint used by every skateboard and even most furniture factory in the USA and Mexico, and even if it was not, the sea breeze blows everyday and I didn't notice any smell at all while I was there...

and you didnt see the cloud of dust they make when they are cleaning the extractor.
