@JunoKillYou Not the 80's But definitely the 70's and the mid to late 60's had this sound . Black Sabbath ,Deep purple , And many other well known bands had a sound similar . The slow steady beat and long times were almost essential to make this music. The genre is known today as Stoner Rock . And there are several bands that are making it in the here and now . I like Desert Sons out of the Netherlands . They really rock and have several videos here on YouTube.
