This is def. like you say, at their best, back when all the emotion was there. I'm not trying to start YouTube controversy, but I really can't stand when Adam goes talking over tracks he should be singing on. The dude was born with an incredible voice and he barely sings out anymore when they play live. I also miss the the more simplified setup of only 6 members, now it's like a fleet of guitarists onstage for no reason. I love just Dave and Dan! This sounds incredible acoustic BTW.
Thanks for posting the original CC line-up videos. I'm a fan of their 1st CD the Drummer Steve Bowman. I was happy to see some postings of him while he was still with the band.
@cicely997 absolutely, the more I listen to that album I've grown to appreciate him as a very tight, tasty drummer. Fit the band perfectly, and that says a lot. I'm not a huge fan of any bands replacing members unless it's absolutely appropriate, say what you want about U2, but those 4 guys have been together since the beginning and that's why they still have the magic. I miss Matt Malley on bass too, his bass chops were awesome, love his thumping on "Children In Bloom" and this track.

Check out the Round Here vid from the same show; it features the drummer toward the finish of the song.
