  • is that peaugh?

  • is there any stocks availab;e??? right now?? 2011???

  • I used to watch the animations when I was a kid. I'm an adult now, so it was long ago. It was al least from the 1970s. I never knew what it was call, but I just remembered it was some kind of Winebego. Does anybody know what the robot was called that consisted of three vehicles that could each be the body, while the others would be the arms and feet, and vise versa. And it would make a different robot each time? I used to watch that all the time too, and I can't think of it.

  • @Vidiwell100 Getter Robo

  • My Daimos arrived from Beta Toys a few hours ago. It's a challenge getting the arms folded in to close everything up for vehicle mode. Aside from this pain, stellar robot mode!

  • as much as its simple to transform , even though it looks cool it can be mistaken for a super gobot

  • I like to think that this toy is so sturdy that you could put a glass of wine on one hand and jump on the other, and the wine wouldn't move.

  • how tall is this figure? Its hard to know the scale with your hands.

  • RIP Dan! You'll be missed.

  • Which one among all the Romance Trilogy robots SOC that you recommend out of the three, Combattler V (GX-50), Voltes Five (GX-31/GX-31V) or this one (GX-43).

  • If they would of painted it the red with the gold colors it would of been perfect.

  • i have the soul of chogokin respect or its called voltes V the new 1 but its not tight its so floppy specially the joints and the foot...

  • @PINOYrepublic27 Really? Mine's quite solid, more so than the original...

  • I prefer the original diecast one since its transformation is more faithful to the anime. Although I imagine an original one would cost more than this one. Of course, quality and detail wise, the SoC series is superb.

  • Hi collectiondx just wanna ask if ur gonna rate this figure from a scale of 1-10 how much you gonna give it?

  • i love both daimos n gordian, always wanted to pilot them since kid but now my job is piloting b777...T,T

  • I think I have an explanation for those joints. the pilot of Daimos is a black belt in Karate, so more often than not you'll see that in the anime the pilot uses hand and kick motions, those joints must be for the kicks, side kicks and roundhouse kicks, and you need those extra joints for those kinds of poses.

  • They changed the design totally. I don't really like how they rotate Tranzor units.

I'm not sure if I's buy that.

  • subbed/5stars.

i like chogokin, i bought all evangelion models.

  • Be it a Shogun Warrior, a Starbird or just awesome, Daimos will forever be my favorite Super Robot. YOM DERU YOM DERU! DAIMOSU DAIMOSU TOSHO DAIMOSU!!!!

  • Daimos is Awesome

  • I've always wanted this version!

    Fully detailed,yet so damn expensive..

  • omg this robot is epic anime that i watch since i was a kid DOUBLE BLIZZARD

  • where can i get that new mekanda robot toy?

  • which one's the vintage??the gray one or the white one???

  • The vintage one is badly shaped with some mismatched colors.

The Soul Of Chogokin version is fully detailed, accurate and equipped.

  • Have you actually watched the Daimos cartoons?

If so, you'd realize the way the arms go into his shins in this toy is not how Daimos actually the way he does in the cartoon. So yeah, the original G1 Daimos toy may look crappy but the transformation is TV/cartoon accurate.

  • This is the realization of the Daimos mecha.....other wise we will settle with the old godaikin robot with the spread out transformation and static look.

  • The transformation on the original anime cheats anyway like the trailer of optimus prime it comes and goes so to be fair with this toy .......everything is perfect.

  • trailer of optimus is a robot car, it follows him where ever he goes.

  • the manufacturers of this daimos cheated a lot on the transformation. the underbody is a mess. it comes out of the chest. and the truck head wheels dont even hit the surface.

  • You weren't kidding about the origami part.

  • how much is this??

  • Awesome!!

  • i have this one :)

  • I think the 2-person team reviewing dramatically improves the review.

  • It sure doesn't follow the correct transformation of daimos from the anime

  • im still bugging myself if i should get this....i really like Daimos....arghh.....

  • nice daimos toy but the transformation is not really perfect although its look great!

  • thank you !

  • I already have, one but really i love the old daimos godaikin issue since it nearly follows the original transformation.

  • I stand corrected

  • i also have one. transforming it is kinda tricky and difficult and it looks like the plastics will break specially in the legs and the chest area. but all in all it still looks cool specially in robot mode.

  • The proportions on that one looks way more accurate & nicer unlike the GA-85 version toy from the 70's that looked like a midget

  • hands is the hardest part

  • He'll always be Dynamo to me. And he will be mine. Oh yes, he will be mine.

  • ダブルー ブウリザード!!!!

Does it come with its So-ryu-ken?

  • oo me tindahan nga dun s greenhills n me optimus p ngang 20th anniv edition at voltes-v SOC, ngaung me trabaho n ako eh mbibili ko n cla 23 yes!

  • Thats way off from its original transformation. but its entrity the robot looks awesome!

  • Josh, your guest has a wicked awesome accent. Enjoyed the review for this and other reasons. Cheers.

  • that was owsome man i like ur toy

  • woooo...ive been waiting for this review

  • Drat, I was hoping for a more anime-perfect transformation... I'm glad I got the GN-U Danguard Ace instead...

  • in past this anime was cool my favourite to watch but after look at this toy, that truck mode looks like a mummy but anyway great review

  • Got him from Greenhills a week ago. He's awesome.

  • I always assumed it was because you wouldn't have to go thru the process of dubbing anymore if the anime was purchased from the US. I remember Voltes V being dubbed in the Philippines, but afterwards the bigger titles were US dubs. Right b4 I left Pinas anime was having a boom in video rental places. I only heard later that lots of anime titles were being shown on tv (even a voltes v revival) being dubbed in tagalog.

  • Superb review fellas.

6 stars for the Ham Hands / Robin in joke.

I hope I wasn't the only one that got that.

  • Yes! another stern fan.

  • thase panels look paper thin !

  • ...it looks like they would easily snap off.

  • One thing I don't understand is why the Philippines kept getting its anime from the US instead of Japan. We had Voltron and Robotech instead of GoLion and Macross. Was it just cheaper to get the english dubs from the US?

  • he is a nice toy but he drive you mad

  • That thing looks great!

  • NOICE thanks for the review!

  • That's a cool!

  • 5'd for Anthrax.
