  • also, playing with your mid fingers can damage the the valves becuase of a bend will make it harder to push down. which would kill the valve casing. you would have to buy a brand new valve or brand new valve case considering the amount of damage

  • Excellent tone. If you don't break that habit of playing with your mid fingers, you're going to have a tough time with solos later. Use your fingertips!

  • Yeah it is a besson. And a very good one! Tuned in Bb and fully compensated. I am not the euphonium specialist, but I like the sound of that very much played with a JK Mouthpiece for Basstrombone (which i play on the Bach 50). Hope for more resonance. I am working on a piece with harp and Euphonium, hope I can upload it soon!
