  • I love this single.

  • Love it, just awesome!

  • Gravity's Rainbow released 1993 is one helluva album! It fucking rocks and Pat's voice is AMAZING!

  • absolutamente increible felicidades

  • I just finished watching the entire video...I'm now crying.

  • This song is a hidden gem. People seemed to ignore her after the infamous swing album, but this is really good.

  • absolutely awesome video. words alone are not enough. makes you stop and look at people differently.

  • Just great video from one of the BEST SINGERS EVERRR!!!! PAT BENATAR!!!

  • trop beau morceau j'adore :))

  • Would someone please upload a better quality video of this up on you tube! Sheesh! :( Pat Benatar only has the best female voice in the universe!

  • Amazing.

  • Un pur plaisir cette chanson, Pour moi c'est la meilleure qu'elle ait chanté avec un rythme très agréable, on se laisse emmener.Malheureusement j'ai l'impression qu'en France on a oublié cette grande artiste qui a pourtant enchaîné de supers compositions ("promises in the dark", "fire and ice", "get nervous", "heartbreaker"...).

  • Another relavant song from Pat Benatar

  • Her autobiography is a great read. She comes across as a pragmatic, smart and strong woman with a strong head on her shoulders. In other words, she's everything that her music portrays her to be. What a great, moving video, by the way - and an excellent song as well.

  • Yeah! Pat's the best!

  • Pat is never far from social issues in her music. "Hell is for Children," "Love is a Battlefield," and "Somebody's Baby" are serious without being preachy, arrogant, or "look at me and how MUCH I CARE." Other than dominate the charts, is there anything this artist (yeah, I said artist) can't do?

  • she looks like joni mitchell here..

  • Underrated gem! Gravity's Rainbow was a great album and Benatar's vocals are top notch!

  • This was one of those "right time, right place" songs for me. The lyrics and melody still hold a lot of emotion and memories for me, but I won't bore you with those. Suffice to say I'm grateful for this song and the incredible magic and feeling behind it....Absolutely one of Pat's best.

  • Thank you Pat and Neil....

  • Wow, this is intense...

  • One of Pat's best--gorgeous melody, poignant lyrics, and as always, incredible vocals. No one can move from the gently operatic to sandpaper rock-and-rolling like Pat Benatar. She alone has that kind of dexterity and stylistic range.

  • I agree

  • @saltwatercb Look for the long play of "Here's my heart" from the remake of Metropolis by Georgio Moroder.A new digital copy is now out : the Metroplis Redux available on the web. It brings me to tears every time.

They broke the mould after Pat was born.

  • My favorite post-Tropico song. It's a shame it was lost during the grunge scene in the 90s. Thx 4 posting!

  • this song is pure emotion.

Thanks to Pat & Neil for recording it.

Few groups in the world are able to have such a song in their career.

  • While I generally avoid '90s music, I do enjoy many '90s songs by '70s/'80s artists. They generally had better music than the new artists of that decade!

  • Have always loved the song but have never seen this amazing video - thanks Pat, Niel, and band - and thanks for posting stiggy333.

  • it was out in 1993

  • Im not a touchy feel person but this always gets me ive been waiting for this video to be on you tube for ever!! thanks Stiggy333!!!!

  • But this song didn't come out until the early 90's, and I didn't think Pat was at Live Aid.

  • I remember seeing her sing this song at the live aid concert in 1985 for AIDS awareness. I love it!

  • no one does soulful/social conscience like pat & co. x

  • pat rocks

    and this song rocks

    and you rock

    because you're listening to it

  • My favorite Pat Benatar song ! It's unfortunate that it's one of her least known songs to all but true fans of hers because lyrical and musically it's a thing of beauty. I feel very lucky to have seen her in concert over the years. Thanks for posting this .

  • This is an amazing song! It really makes you think about things and and take a step back and maybe rethink some things as well.

  • Great song, and a very incredible video,

    very moving. :(

But why is Pat dressed like Joni Mitchell? (See Joni's "Heijra" album cover, weird)

  • I don't know, she was like that on the album cover too.

  • Brings tears to my eyes everytime I watch this....

  • so with you

  • but i make myself watch it to remind me of how fucking lucky i am and how we can be so uncaring to each other:(

  • I just let a guy who owes me money off the hook for one large on account of he "used to be..." (disclaimer, I actually have met his aged mother, which is to say, she puts a face on the "somebody")

  • ONE OF BENATAR'S GREATEST SONGS.

  • pat benatar is the SHIT

  • What a great and beautiful video! The song is amazing as well.

  • Amazingly heart touching. This is something I could listen to for days, just to be inspired every day to go out there. It touches my heart.
