  • "Where's the White Rabbit?"

    "He was the third course."

    ---

"Like a couple of proper disgraces!"

    ---

God, I love these two! R.I.P. to Ronnie Barker, the best cross-dresser or all time! :)

  • Kings of comedy xD These two nutjobs & Morecombe & Wise blow everyone else AWAY.. to this day

    Thanx for uploading jifkitchen :-)

  • @jsivna thanks very much jsivna. though a fuller version is on flyingdamingo's channel. the tweedledee song always gets me going!

  • The funniest bit is "But before we go..." END!

  • The words seem to be

    were tweedledee and tweedledum

    he's my friend

    he's my chum

we're GORGING AWAY and filling our tum

like a couple of proper disgraces

Still, I did like the "stuffing face" bit!!

  • Found the full version on flyingdamingo's channel... but prefer this one!! The first one here could almost be the opening number :)

  • Not heard of this one, came across it by accident!! Another classic, cant think why this one isnt so well known!! Particularly loved the Tweedle Dee/Dum part, 3:21 onwards!! Brilliant!!!

  • @simonbellringer i know. I took me ages to get it reapeated again on TV, and even then, the damm DVD recorder went bust on me at the critical moment, so I lost the begining and the first two songs. Still, it was the Tweedlebum bit i was really after, and glad you enjoyed it too simonbellringer.

  • @jifkitchen Well done though!! The first song you recorded could have been the opening of the scene, bar an introduction, like Alice falling into Wonderland (which I assume there was anyway?!!)

Still, well done for getting this, and if its repeated, you know what to do... :)

  • Who played Alice? She's pretty!

  • I love this!!! I know all the words off by heart!!!! XX

  • "And a speech from the dear old Queen - the other Queen, my dear. You know, the one on the stamps!"

  • Does anyone know who the guy in the hat is at 0:39?

  • Who is the "king of turkey" there?

  • @michaelritchie200 Bernard Matthews

  • Crys.........tal Palace. HA!

  • Would have been Ronnie Barker's last ever words on television at the end here

    God bless him

  • legends!!!

  • How did I miss this? Absolutely wonderful. Thanks for sharing.

  • Which is which out of Tweedledee and Tweedledum?

  • I saw this last year the xmas special. Gr8 episode.

  • Such talent !

I never get bored watching The Two Ronnies.

For over a year now, I've been looking for 2 videos which seem to have been taken down.

1/ The Two Ronnies doing: "Tooting Carmen"

2/ The Two Ronnies: "A hunting we will go"

I HOPE SOME KIND PERSON UPLOADS THEM.

    (Japan)

    Cheers !

  • "Who gave Willie that hunting horn?"

Quite appropriate at the moment with the vuvuzelas!

  • Do you have the beginning of this sketch?

  • @Inkyminkyzizwoz nah, sorry. the DVD player staled on me when i tried recording, then it turned off. i had to restart the recorder, and i had lost the begining. shame, but i got what i really wanted - the tweedledum bit. taken from THE TWO RONNIES CHRISTMAS SKETCHBOOK. so i'd keep an eye out if anyone else has recorded it. you could try rapier-media; he has just about all other two ronnies videos.

  • @jifkitchen OK. Pity - I quite like the 'Alice in her winter underwear' bit!

  • @jifkitchen No, doesn't look like he does unfortunately! Never mind!

  • @jifkitchen Perhaps you should look out for it next Christmas and see if you can record it again!

  • @Inkyminkyzizwoz I have the whole sketch I will try and find it out.

  • @Inkyminkyzizwoz "flyingdamingo" has it on his channel... or type in "Alice in Wonderland 2 Ronnies" into Youtube!!

  • @simonbellringer Thanks!

  • "Where's the white rabbit?"

    "He was the third course!"

    LOL!

  • "I think I'll give the ballet a miss, I'd rather watch Fulham at home to Crys...tal Palace!"

  • Haven't seen this for ages, and so had forgotten what a gorgeous embodiment of the talents of these gentlemen, not merely in the acting but Ronnie B's relish for the language, it was.
