Questo film mi colpi' molto all'epoca. Il remake di Minghella è certamente inferiore, qui gli attori sono eccelsi e la storia si dipana con meno difficoltà e maggior spirito di sintesi. Delon è all'apice della bellezza. Pero' non si fa accenno all'ambiguità sessuale di Ripley, unico elemento del rifacimento più intrigante...
