@maverick9900, no word on an official release yet but there is a mostly complete (and I think still being worked on) English patch. It's just a shame that DS flashcards are becoming illegal everywhere...

I loved this game to death when I was a kid but I could never beat it... I didn't understand the leveling system at all and wound up at Odin with super weak caharacters. Never made it further than that.

@GeoVII I hated that just when your Esper(s) learned a really damn good spell, the next level they would "swap" it for a different one! It never gave you the option of keeping certain spells.

@InsanoRider777 They always forget their spell closest to the bottom. If you unequipped a gear slot, you could retain your bottom lowest placed spell be learning a new one. Once an equip slot is used for a spell however, you can never use an item in that slot. That's how mutants worked.

Weird game, but once you mastered the system it was really pretty balanced.

@InsanoRider777, You're meant to reorder your spells to keep the good ones :) I believe it's always the bottom one that gets swapped, and you can change around the order in the menus.
