Glad I found your videos man! I was sitting here playing Prodigal Son on my guitar: I always played it in std E. Tried the open E..Works great! Now I found Sweet Virginia and although I played it semi-correct in std E, it never sounded quite right. I've never tried using a capo very often. Big difference. Keep up the good work!

@privettricker That's a great piece of advice and true. Last time I picked it up (about 3 years ago) I amazed myself at what I could do, all of a sudden. I suppose it's got something to do with the fact that you know you're never going to set the world on fire and hence, you just play for the sound the the thing makes - or something like that.

The only chords are G (and a G7), D, C, and A7.

There are a few embellishments along the way, but you can get by with just those chords.

It's a Dove. Hummingbird is mahogany back/sides and the Dove is maple. The Dove is a bit brighter sounding.
