im sorry, i got my answer at the end, i asked it before i finished. i just got to say thanks to all you guys. i used to live down the street from the fire house and when i was 6 my house was set on fire by some ahole who had a beeper store underneith my my house. and you guys got their and carried me and my family down a ladder to saftey. THANKS!!!

Yes, most of the photos were taken by me on September 12, 2001. A few are also on permanent display at the 911 memorial in the Botanical Gardens.

all FDNY Rescue Companies do dive rescue, but there is an FDNY dive rescue rig its not used much

We filled in as FDNY Rescue 5 with Rescue 1 from the Livingston Fire Department. We spent September 12 & 13, 2001 at their fire house in Staten Island.

After we spent numerous hours of putting it back into service, it lasted quite awhile then was replaced with the current Rescue 5.
