Hey ryan!!! I know you use slightly higher end software than sony movie studio but alas that's what i'm stuck with...What i've been doing is simply filming at 60fps with a higher shutter speed then I bring my footage into the editor and just hold shift and double the length of the footage. It normally looks pretty good, so would it be necessary for me to conform the footage with different software?

I haven't seen any test videos, but supposedly the new Casio EX-ZR10 camera shoots at 1000 frames a second at 720p. It's only about $300 which is cheaper than getting Twixtor. I'd like to see that compared to this.
