It could be the tea tree oil because it's a very powerful product and it could be the sage because sage is a plant, but most products that have sage in them is actually the juice from sage leaves that they somehow turn into oil and sometimes it's the actual juice in products and it makes the hair feel like it's on fire because it's like a strong mint. Or it just could be an allergic reaction to one of the ingredients in the product.
Tea Tree oil is an essential oil to treat scalp problems. If you have severely itchy scalp or eczema, for example, you may be able to leave it in by further diluting it with more oil. Always start off with small gradual doses of EOs and gradually increase accordingly. If you are using it to stimulate your scalp us it as a hot oil treatment or in your condition or shampoo, then rinse. Always be careful using essential oils.
I know if you have sores and cuts (or even irritation) then the oil could have soaked into your scalp and into your blood stream... it's only meant to be applied "topically" but if there is a lot of irritation or you have tiny scratches on your scalp the oil could have went deeper and cause burning.
I know that I have pretty bothersome scalp issues so I can't help but scratch sometimes and I know tea tree burns like hell if your scalp is irritated.
i love a lady with curves, not them anorexic bitches that are ruining the reputations of them curvy masterpieces, and yeah shut your mouth, i think she realizes the subject that you are talking about without your help, you know what? why don't you post your weight before you start criticizing others, here ill start, i'm 13 yrs, male, 4/11, 100 pounds, muscular build
It is probably an allergic reaction to something in the product. Keep that product label with the ingredients on it. If youexpericene a reaction to another product you review, just compare the ingredients so you can try to figure out what you are allergic to. I'm sorry you had to go through that. Just be very careful. God Bless you and the family!
IF IT WAS AN EMERGENCY YOU WOULD HAVE WENT TO THE HOSPITAL. BUT JUST LIKE YOUR FACE , IF YOU ARE NOT USE TO A SKIN REGIME YOU WOULD HAVE A FIT USING SCRUBS AND ASTRINGENTS, SAME FOR FACE , YOU PROBABLY HAD IN THAT AREA ALREADY A PROBLEM ON THE SCALP , LIKE BULD UP OR YOU SCRATCH IN THAT AREA A LOT AND JUST LIKE A CUT OR BURN RECEIVES MEDICATION IT HURT A LITTLE UNTIL IT HEALS.
I'm allergic to that junk TOOO! I know what you mean by your hair feeling like it is on fire. I think it is a combination of jojoba and soy. A lot of people are allergic to soy.
@xxDawlinSingerxx I never used their shampoo before but i used the organics hair mayonaise, organics cholesterol tea tree oil, and herbal oil. Those products works miracles for my hair. I use the oil and it didn't burn at all. Its probably the tea tree oil though, it very potent, or your probably allergic to something in the oil.
It's the tea tree oil. Tea tree oil in it's natural state is very strong! they use it to kill bodily parasites. It's really harmful so i think too much was used.

Tea tree oil is very strong and should be used in small amounts. I usually use a few drop with my shampoo to prevent dandruff and to clean my scalp. I don't leave it in my hair though.
Tea Tree oil is powerful! Very strong! Be careful! Just because it is a natural ingredient does not mean it will not do harm. As a matter of fact, we all need to be careful! Natural products/essential oils are very strong. Imagine getting pure peppermint oil in your eyes or the mucus membranes of your nose.

sage and thyme??? that's probably why it burns...those are the spices people put in dressings and stuffing during the holidays! that's crazy. be careful with your product. I hope it doesn't happen again :) God Bless.
Yes ma'am. The one about the hair warning? Yeah. I appreciate your posts. I think it's a beautiful thing that you and your family is doing this together. I'm new to being natural. And your vids help. I really hate that happened to your daughter's hair. But don't feel bad or feel as though people will judge you, because I sure you tried the product with your daughter's hair health in mind. I can use that product becuz i am allergic to kiwi. find out if you could be allergic to kiwi (if you are allergic to strawberries you could be sensitive to kiwi too) Esspecially natural products...read the labels, if you are allergic to a food...it goes on your scalp...same result. hope you feel better.
thanx. u r sweet. and your family is beautiful. my camera is broke and it will probably be march before i can start making videos. sorry for delays. i want to help people because i know what hair frustrations can be like. when i was a hair dresser, that was what i specialized in....color mistakes, hair being brittle, etc. unfortunately i became sensitive to the chemicals in salon and had to give it up. that's what drew me to your site. i'm on a journey of my own...SICK OF IRRITATING CHEMICALS!
I think all them tea tree does that, I dont like tea tree but I think the tea tree and if there is ANY citrus that would irritate your scalp too, I dont use oils No No, cos I have caucasian oriental hair pin straight and short, I like my hair air dry, but for some reason, I get that also with tea tree's, and any lemon or orangie products, be careful and stick with that cantu shea butter!!!
i'm sorry but i really feel for you. one thing i wanted to say also is that if you have a sensitive scalp try to avoid producys that contain too many ingredients, even if they are "natural" oils. i know from researching this because of my own allergies. an allergies can suddenly develop anytime in life.mine started at age 38 and got worse in my mid forties and then better since i turned 50. there are only 3 non-allergy oils for hair and scalp...rosemary,jojoba, and teatree.

all it takes is a bad combination of product ingredients to set off a fire storm of irritation on a sensitive scalp.anytime a hair product claims to have a "root stimulator" beware. basically that "could" mean some slight irritation from something that is meant to remove the dead skin layer of the scalp so that it is easier for the hair to come through the follicle. The result is thicker hair,"maybe". when your scalp starts to itch like mad and you feel it began to crust you're healing.
just as long as you are okay!! tell me was happens when you go to the doctor!!
when that happened to me i was going to cut my hair ALL off til my mother stopped me and literally put me in the tub and gave me a oatmeal (nasty) bath herself!!
yeah i went to the doctor. my scalp and body did the same thing!! at first i didnt think that it was the oil b/c sesame oil was not listed so i used it for about a week more til i realized it was that damn oil!! but when i stopped using it the burning stopped!!

Uh-uh! Plz b careful when selecting products. Does that have mineral oil or some other mess in it? i don't think the fruit part burnt ur scalp, i think it was a synthetic ingredient. about 4 years ago i tried a product "organic" and it made my eyes burn! i hope ur ok.
if u want a hair oil, use a base of 7oz extra virgin olive oil. put maybe one tbs melted raw shea butter, and add 2-3 drops rosemary essential oil.
The olive oil will penetrate hair and scalp. shea butter will thicken it a little and make it more emollient. The rosemary oil stimulates your hair follicles.
I never knew oils could do that.

if u want a hair oil, use a base of 7oz extra virgin olive oil. put maybe one tbs melted raw shea butter, and add 2-3 drops rosemary essential oil.
The olive oil will penetrate hair and scalp. shea butter will thicken it a little and make it more emollient. The rosemary oil stimulates your hair follicles.
