I've been considering getting a 23andme kit to get tested. I think it's a wonderful idea. Does anyone know what the company is allowed to do with the information? I've seen the video for the relative finder, & to be honest I wouldn't want people to be able to find whether out they were related me. I wouldn't want any information about my genetic info available for anyone, including this company. How private is the information, and what is 23andme entitled to do with it?
praise the lord, my teachers a bookworm, she talks as if we already know everything, ITS A BEGINNER CLASS!! grrh, anyways thanks for this, it makes it so much easier
this is awesome! I agree professors should learn how to simplify, then build up on the intellect that was taught... instead they assume the last professor done their job.. Anymore everyone is in for the money..Either you get it- reach out for other resources (like this to get it) or you dont. Thanks for this lesson.. My money would be wasted, I wud have to repeat this class.. if it was not for resources like this! my professor did not reach me.. he should feel unaccomplished, instead he is frust
WOW... sooo easy to apprehend. Simplification is something more professors should learn how to do while they're teaching. :( :( I always have to come to YouTube to review lectures. :P thanx.
I think you might be giving the impression that SNPs=mutations. SNPs might have arisen by mutation, but you mostly get your genotype (set of SNPs) from your parents, not from errors in copying.
