  • Actually, the anime in Kill Bill is a reference to Lady Snowblood, which is a big inspiration for the film.

  • he wrote the first part, then, he felt that he had perfected making martial arts movies when he finished it, so he decided to make volume 2

  • Ghost in a shell is a amazing movie I don't care what people say

  • what were those two manga you said?

  • A one word review will surfice. Fun.

  • Wow Eric your voice is so different?

  • It was too big to make one film. But he jumbled the chapters around, but the way he did it was pretty cool

  • my second favorite movie of all time

  • @h4sh92 it's not supposed to be funny it's an action/drama

  • @imasbeastasgod Okay, but this film is just a kitsch ;(

  • @h4sh92 What is a kitsch. Is that a typo or what.

  • the whole bloody affair is the the both of them combined

  • Yes. It was filmed as a single movie; but it was produced by Harvey Weinstein, under Quentin's conviction, as a two-part movie.

  • I watched this movie yesterday.

    Complete shock. Best movie ever.

    EVER.

  • first off 1 the over top gore is ironic its not meant to be serious second off some of the the goriest movie's ever come from western's... and through this review you show your utter lack of movie knowledge

  • I agree. I mean there are so many diffrent animes out there. -shamefully has seen alot of anime- I think they shouldnt say that they were inspired by anime. I mean I really dont like Akira and Ghost in the Shell. I mean Hellsing has alot of violence (Especially in the manga), but I might be wrong.

  • i did not like it it left me with answered question

  • wooo one piece!

  • rambo (2008) has more blood

  • thanks for the review.

  • death proof as horrible as it was happened in chronilogical order didnt it? I really wasnt thrilled with this movie it was worth watching and I dug the green hornet reference

  • Death Prof was his next film (which I didn't like). I liked this tho. eah the Green Hornet reffrence was cool.

  • wasn't "from dusk till dawn" in chronological order?

    review reservoir

  • dogs

  • That wasn't his film.

    Maybe.

  • dusk till dawn was Rodriguez not QT although he did star in it

  • no he wrote the screenplay

  • well i mean he did star in it, but he did write the screenplay

  • yeah and although he didn't direct it... in the audio commentary it sounds like he had a lot of input

  • oh okay

  • @ironspiderhulk04 That was a Robert Rodriguez film. I think Quentin Tarantino produced it though. And of course he was in it

  • i did not notice that she brought her sword on the plane... wow... and what do u mean the superman conversation seems like its unauthentic?? i thought it was done ver well because they bring up things about super i.e his mythology, his custum origin, and superman and other heros identity crisises.

  • I didn't say it felt unauthentic. I said I didn't agree with it. Because I see Clark Kent as the real personality. and superman as the mask.

  • maybe you should do a vid on what personality do you feel superheros more have becasue i believe batman dominates bruce wanye, superman is dominates more clark kent, but peter parker is more dominate than spiderman. i believe while bruce banner looks for a cure for the hulk, secertly he wants to stay the hulk. captian america is more dominant than steve rogers, but tony starks is more dominate than iron man.. what do you feel about this and other heros that i didnt list?

  • Really? One Piece and Dragon Ball Z were supposedly very pathetic forms of anime. They were mainly just cartoony and silly--not something that Tarantino would want. Tarantino was referrencing only the violent anime because his films are mixtures of exploitation films. They're supposed to be violent; and the different genres of violence in exploitation films are what helped contribute to it all. I'm not a hardcore anime fan; but from what I've seen, Kill Bill's was pretty accurate.

  • I think vol. 1 has more rewatch value, but for some reason I just have a soft spot for vol. 2. Mainly because I find the long dialogue sequences in vol. 2 more interesting than the non stop action in vol. 1. but that's just me

  • I love this film(s)! It was supposed to be a single movie and the split was made at the last minute.

I think when Tarantino makes a film in a certain genre, it's not meant to be an exact recreation. It's meant to be his take on a whatever genre.

  • Oh so it wasn't always intended to be 2? I didn't know that.

Yeah it does seem like that.

  • I'm glad that I'm not the only person in this world who liked vol. 2 better. I REALLY think it's far superior to vol. 1. but I don't like kill bill overall, to be honest. it comes from a time where I REALLY was a tarantino nerd. today, the only good tarantino's are in my opinion reservoir dogs and pulp fiction.
