  • Yes, and one of those injustices is for humans to kill animals, fish, birds , as well as humans, etc....who cannot speak up for themselves, but I guess you think they only exist for our taste buds, so they don't need to speak up for themselves. Brilliant. If there was a United Nations of Organisms, they would all vote unanimously that human beings are like a Virus to this planet and that we should be eliminated. I agree with you, I should not even have wandered onto a page where fish are killed

  • I'm not cool, Im just more concerned about animals, fish and plants more than I am about people, because people can speak up for themselves when attacked with violence, but the other creatures can't

  • @Gauraonline Then why are you watching a video called: "How to cook tuna steaks?" Fuck off to some vegetarian video and comment on that.

  • @Gauraonline There are huge injustices happening in our world today to human beings who cannot speak up for themselves. Are you a fucking joke? Consider the following: A lion is about to pounce upon a gazelle in the african plains. Next door is an orphaned child who lost his parents due to HIV and is dying of thirst. What do you do? Choke yourself on tofu because you can't handle reality? try to act against the will of nature? This is assuming you haven't died from anaemia yet.

  • Yuck ! Dead fish !?! No thank you. Its been 36 yrs since I ate any dead corpse

  • @Gauraonline oh you're cool.

  • tuna shouldent be rare in the middle sear with garlic butter and olive oil with basil

  • @pimpjuice66632 Best chefs in the world disagree

  • How hot should the pan be?

  • tuna should be eaten raw as sushi.

  • yummy ... i just made some just the way i like it thanks . little pink and great

  • @afglhr where did you find that information from?

  • If you're going to cook fish all the way through, don't buy tuna. Spend your money on swordfish.

  • I would do it this way:- make terriyaki sauce by mixing in a small cup 2 tblspn of syrup and 2tblspn soy sauce (maple syrup might work too). Chop garlic and ginger. Fry the garlic and ginger for 30 seconds, add the tuna steak. Sear the tuna steak on both sides in the same way as the video (no extra salt needed) pour over the terriyaki sauce. Put the frying pan with the steak into the oven for about 2 mins on high heat 400F/200C. Might need to vary longer depending on thickness of the steak etc..

  • Actually you can eat Tuna steak raw, nothing wrong with that, infact most dark meat fish you can eat raw in the style of sashimi/sushi etc, its just that we like the centre of the tuna steak to be a little pinkish but warm/hot in the middle. I'd recon the way she cooked it, it would still be cold in the middle, especially if its been in the fridge. ... oh btw someone let me know how maple syrup teriyaki tastes..

  • @martintreadgold

I'm going to disagree with the way you make teriyaki sauce. Use 1/2 cup Mirin, 1/2 cup soy sauce, and 1/2 cup sake. Cook it down till its shiny and thickens. That's an authentic recipe from Japan and it tastes awesome!!!

  • thats seriously ridiculous.......... You cant cook 4 shit

  • Seriously, I dont agree with celebrity chefs and caterers that rare or medium rare is prime cooking level. I like well done, as do my picky eaters who already are skeptical of anything that seems healthy.

  • It's supposed to be that rare in the center, you noobs

  • @robie2222 is there a risk of food poisoning from the raw fish meat?

  • @streamr89 There a risk of food poisoning from pretty much anything, like E Coli in your raw vegetables. That being said, the risk is very low with seafood if your ingredients are good quality.

  • Alittle Olive Oil with Butter and Sea Salt with Pepper works Great !

(For Health, stay away from Canola Oil and Aluminum Pans)

Wonder when Hemp Oil will be available - Hemp Milk is Grand !

  • not done -.-

  • Not exactly how i'd like my tuna but no need to bash people about it.

  • I love canned tuna, and wonder if these are similar just much tastier, but they are terribly expensive over here, so id be a great waste if I didn't like it.

    Looks similar to canned tuna...

Do tuna steaks taste somewhat similar to canned tuna? Or does it taste more like lets say... Cod? I like cod, but that is not what I am looking for.

  • We like so much to be cooking this dishes but in my country we can often not source these ingredients. If we exchange for broccoli and cheese will result be similar?

  • thats how tuna is eaten -.- don't cook tuna if you can't -- waste of a good fish

  • Gabi... remember the first lesson at cooking school, for stainless steel pans ALWAYS use low to very low heat... and you will get better results than using non-stick? And... you know that tuna is just seared not cooked.... But hey, this is an eHow video so it should be useless like the rest of them...

  • IT'S RAW! YOU DONKEY!

  • I don't know about this fish is still raw in the middle

  • Huh i swear whites are the worse cooks, i bet none these white women can make no soul food.

  • @atlkinkyboi swag, no 5-course meals for you...let this girl (atlkinkyboi) cook

  • @atlkinkyboi Racist comment.

Not a good idea to put salt on fish as it will draw the moisture out.

  • let that boy cook

  • @Adrenaline4P shut up nigger

  • So, it takes a total of only 2 minutes to cook?if I choose to cook it longer, would it taste over cooked?

  • @QueLindaLV It gets dry quicker

  • I like my steaks medium rare... could you possibly get a tuna steak medium rare? Because all the videos i've seen of it are always rare :(

  • sushi?

  • It's raw in the middle! It'll be stone cold.

  • Its good when its raw in the middle

  • @whitbyjet65

it's called "seared", you dummy. why don't you just go fry something for your unsophisticated family?

  • @whitbyjet65 it's called "seared" you dummy. why don't you just go fry something.

  • @whitbyjet65 Let it out of the fridge, till it's room temp. Just like steaks. once room temp throughout, then fry and te middle will be warm and raw the way it's supposed to.

  • @whitbyjet65 its a sashimi style

  • why do you have holes in your clothing???

  • that wasent done --''

  • @CesarElMaxter13 a lot of 5 stars restaurants cook tuna like this. It shall be red in the middle. I thought it was weird at 1st but it was the best tuna I ever had!

  • @JG1G1 Exactly. That's actually how I see tuna steaks the majority of the time.

  • When i want to see cooking videos i watch the others but when i want to eat something and want to be shure it's good i watch your videos! Good job.

  • Canola oil is the first mistake. This video is filled with them.

  • i have a thick steak

  • This was an aweful example...WTF!!!

  • 1 1/2" steak? Her boyfriend has been lying about measurements...LOL

  • I cook mine for 4 minutes each side.
