maybe another tip:
coats the whole surface of the roof with solarcells,...
so if u ,or the car aint doing nothing.........it automaticly load the batteries then ... ;-)

The added drag from the solar panels will probably be more detrimental to range at highway speeds than the power they will produce in direct sunlight. BUT, they would indeed be handy for recharging in the parking lot for perhaps 5-10 miles of range a day.

The gearbox had to come out with engine because there was no way to get to gearbox bolts.
I will also have to get a plate made to mate
the electric motor to gearbox. So I need it removed anyway.
