Sé que la saga Metal Gear tiene cosas interesantes y únicas, no lo niego. Pero esas cosas no dejan de ser anécdotas, luego lo que uno tiene en sus manos es una peli manga de 10 horas y algunos minutos jugables. Pero bueno, cierto es que cada uno tiene sus gustos, os doy la razón. De lo que me quejo es que la crítica no le reprocha ninguno de sus defectos, como la linealidad que tanto critican en otros casos o lo fácil que es, o blablabla... Saludos.

Alguien cree que esta saga está un poco bastante sobrevalorada? mucha intro, muchos personajes, y tal...pero el juego es siempre un más de lo mismo, bastante aburrido, y con muchos defectos que nadie parece destacar. Es como intocable. Los hay mejores en todos los aspectos, incluso en el técnico, pero a esos juego sí que se les castiga por sus defectos, y a esta saga no. Va sin acritud.

Metal Gear Solid es una de las mejores sagas de videojuegos jamas creadas. No teme arriesgarse (vease Raiden en MGS 2) posee algunas de las mejores batallas contra jefes de la historia (The Boss, Psycho Mantis, Revolver Ossalot) nunca deja de ser original (En la batalla contra psycho mantis el jefe lee tu memory card y dice los juegos que has jugado y en la batalla contra The End, si dejas guardado el juego 1 semana el jefe muere de viejo, increible!).

El juego revoluciono el genero, NUNCA carece de calidad entre generos y siempre se esfuerza por satisfacer a los fans. Realmente ningun Metal Gear me ha decepcionado. Claro esta que depende de los gustos de las personas, ningun juego puede cubrir los gustos de cada gamer, aún asi la saga merece todo lo que tiene. Metal Gear Solid se concentra en el infiltrado silencioso, donde se intenta no asesinar a nadie, por eso puede parecerle aburrido a algunos.

Brothers90001 I bought snake eater by itself and it only had the top down view it kinda sucked. then somebody bought me the box set that came with mgs1,mgs2 and snake eater. that one had the option of the 3rd person view and it was a lot more fun to play. One of my fav games on ps2.

@Ezrat3 what you have to do is, sneak up behind them when they are not expecting you, hold your weapon up against them when you are near enough, snake will then shout freeze and the hostage will put his hands up, you will then need to go round to the front of him with your gun still aiming at him. When you are in front of him, you then aim the gun at a vulnerable spot, such as the head, or the stomach, he should then do his weird shake and you get items. i think you can get 3 items maximum. :)

Since you usually get rewards for NOT killing people and even more rewards for NOT being seen, i would say you are definately NOT supposed to kill people

This is FAR better than MGS4. In this gme you can't just buy ammo when you want, otherwise it kills the purpose of steaking. In MGS3 you can't really go guns blazing and you really need to conserve bullets.

Every MGS game is great has its ups and downs. 2 redifined the series . 3 made you feel like a true cloaked predator. 4 made you feel like a true badass when it came to action. But IMO, The most deepest MGS is PEACE WALKER. That game is unbelievable. It truly is incredible how much content Hideo was able to get on the psp. Anyone thats played and beat it would agree. There is so much to do in PW it truly is rediculous. Thats coming from a fan of all the MGS's.

@MrHappyChappi It's actually SUBSISTENCE version, lol, I use to mix SUBSTANCE and SUBSISTENCE but ya. I would recommend MGS3 Subsistence 'cause like u said, you can rotate the camera and there is shit load of more on the disc, like, demo theater and all that stuff. Check it out.

This is the best game I've ever played. Very intriguing througout the whole game, and the gameplay is remarkable. The graphics are very decent for the PS2 as well. As an avid PC-gamer, I can't really name one game that has been more memorable to me than this, on PC, PS2 or any other platform. A masterpiece.
