@GOD719 I had to wait a year for the RFB. I'm not even going to attempt to wait for the KSG or I'll end up paying for it with a social security check!
@the308capital I was wondering how you grouped out with this rifle? I am concerned with the 1:11:25 twist rate right when they should have done a 1:9 for a shorter barrel length.
Awesome, thanks-- I just moved to Sc and walked into a gun-store and saw one on the wall- 1399-- so I put it on 4 month layaway~ Can't wait-- Mags are a pita to find... Any recc. on them? Also, I think I'm gonna grab a couple of the butt spacers from Kel-tec.. Then its onto the scope-- Maybe an Eotech 511 (since I have it already!
@rolncor For mags try DS Arms in Lake Barrington, IL. or AIM Surplus in Ohio sells 30 round DSA manuf. FAL mags ($23) and 20 round South Korean manuf ones for $16. I have 2 of the DSA 30 rounders and they work great, a good deal for $23 but they go out of stock fast so check AIM Surplus quite frequently to get them when they come in.
@rolncor The grip is an EMA Tactical SVG (Cheaper than Dirt item# 17979). The top rail comes stock and the lower rail is an accessory from Kel Tec. The muzzle brake is the Smith Ent. Good Iron part# 1005-SS that I bought from Rock River Arms. The hard part with the muzzle brake was trying to break the original flash hider free. Once you break the stock flash hider free the rest is easy, just watch the alignment of the ports when you do the final tightening on the Smith to make it work right.
@JBG762 Kel-Tec said they were trying to get the ball rolling a while ago, however in the meantime they are still trying to make a 24" barreled RFB and for that matter making the KSG ready to go. So who knows, just go into a coma for a decade and maybe it'll happen but for now all we can do is wait, and wait, and wait, and wait, and wait, and wait, and,,,,,,,,,,,
@chaosunchallenged I was hitting an IPSC silhouette metal target at 200 yards offhand with German surplus ammo. I never did a true accuracy test with good ammo, I stick to surplus ammo which isn't the best stuff for accuracy but great for the wallet.
I love the RFB, it's a great alternative to other short 308 rifles. It is very easy to handle, simple to disassemble, reasonably priced and a joy to shoot. Kel Tec scored big with this one. Thanks for watching.
The more of the Kel-Tec RFB shows I watch by you, the more I want to have 1. I like the FAL lot's. I migrated from the M14/M21 variety, and didn't appreciate the M1 Garand modification at all. I was unimpressed!
@the308capital - Thanks for the video. How much that RFB cost you?

Man that muzzle break looks like it really helps. You have less recoil than anyone else I have seen on youtube shooting the RFB.
BCOable 3 months ago
@BCOable I have the same break on my Rock River LAR-8 and it does reduce recoil quite substantially for 308s.

one that would take AK mags would be awsome.
Kimbozx636 4 months ago
@Kimbozx636 That would be one bad-ass SonOfABitch. they should include the front post sight of an AK for that menacing profile too.

What forward vertical grip do you have on that. Is there a rail that comes stock? I didn't think it had one.
Also, what suppressor from Smith did you use, and was it an easy swap.. Thanks

I'd like to see them also make one in .223 that would take AR, or maybe Mini 14 mags. Would be great in a 3 gun match. Or 6.8mm for that matter.

@JBG762 I'm hoping for the 7.62x39 one myself.

curious on what kind of groups you get at 100 yards. Is it accurate?

@the308capital same here we pay enough on the gun to pay extra just to enjoy it. Nice enough accuracy for me. Getting one now. thanks
