Gunner did his job he gave info to the best of his ability and was told to fire. If you think tht what he did was wrong well it was all way above his head he was trained to observe and relay the info back assess the situation and do what he was told. Which he did. But because your some pen pushing hippy who would obviously rather a world where we pray to Allah everyday I guess you wouldn't understand the means and at times mistakes it takes to keep our free w
@ausiTOMAHAWK86 In het nederlands gaat de spelling een stuk beter australisch stuk vreten dat je er godverdomme rondloopt. dus stop je lul in je bek dan ben je tenminste stil ! spell this mofo
@ausiTOMAHAWK86 You are a racist asshole. This is eight peoples lives you are talking about. What he did was wrong because he didn't have concrete intel as most of the time they were behind cover of the buildings and didn't have any idea what they were holding. And we are in their country killing them so its gonna be hard for them to force their faith on us eh. Plus the bible is just as evil. How about i come murder you and your whole family because i think you are holding a gun??? no? shut up.
@ausiTOMAHAWK86 It's the responsibility of a good soldier to know when to and when to not fire. A drone follows order. A good soldier acts when the situation requires it even though he might get a punishment later.
fucking american bullies ,what the fuck are you doing there .STAY AT THE OTHER SIDE OF YOURE FUCKING OCEAN ,BUILT A 500 FOOT WALL AND DONT INTERFERE WHIT EVERYTHING IN THE WORLD . ITS NOT YOURE FUCKING BUSSNISS.fucking oilstealers i hate you all motherfuckers ( i am not a moslim)
Right. And if we built a 500 foot wall around America during WWII, and just stayed "at the other side of [our] fucking ocean", then you would be speaking German you ungrateful fuck. Oh, and in 2003 when we invaded Iraq, it wasn't just the America. The U.K., Australia, and Poland originally invaded Iraq AT THE SAME TIME. Get your fucking facts straight, faggot.
@chevypeet One more thing. Here's a list of all the countries involved in the Iraqi war; U.S. U.K. Australia Romania El Salvador Estonia Bulgaria Moldova Albania Ukraine Denmark Czech Republic South Korea Japan Tonga Azerbaijan Singapore Bosnia and Herzegovina Macedonia Latvia Poland Kazakhstan Armenia, Mongolia Georgia Slovakia Lithuania Italy Norway Hungary Netherlands Portugal New Zealand Thailand Philippines Honduras Dominican Republic Spain Nicaragua, and Iceland.
@Opsproclan605 LEt it be know that a lot of countries had militery bases in Iraqi. Thus they weren't actually involved. They were just positioned there before it started. There is 3 main countries involved. US, UK and Australia. There was some other countries who also helped out. UK said the only reason they invaded was that you need to help allies out, Tony blair didn't actually have another reason as to why he invaded.
fucked up...but hey...thats war. You know in WWII we fire bombed men, WOMEN and CHILDREN in Japan. Other (undeveloped) countries should be thankful we don't have the policy any longer.
The only thing the US gov is guilty about in this case if covering the incident up(but that's what any other gov would do). This incident is nothing but a few overzealous trigger happy fucking pieces of shit. On the flip side, our enemies don't have any "rulesofengagement" or any laws governing war like we do, there would be far more intentional civilian casualties if we we dealt with militarily. The sad part about our country Gov is our actions rarely ever reflect our precious values.
@xrsist they dont have rules of engagement because they are defending their country you fucking idiot, Defending against americas illegal war of aggression with no real cause beside greed. Fuck america.
@aguilartwelve Wow, thanks for the personal attack. Real mature. Talk about aggression. My point, and I'll repeat was that if we actually went to war with an Arab country(say they invade the US), you'd think they would give two shits about rules of engagement? I'm in no way supportive of the atrocities committed by our gov, but we are a nation of individuals, and people make mistakes. Just as these soldiers did, and we do the right thing too, as mr Manning has shown us.
@xrsist I had to respond to this. Try reading our founding documents again before saying something so blatantly ignorant. We're supposed to make those who do these things leave, even over throw our own government much like what's occurring with countries like Egypt, Syria (who last night on Anderson Cooper an individual was begging for help from anyone who would) The point is, we have a higher duty to keep this crap from happening not to cower from it.
@MintWorker I'm not arguing with that, that's why I said the Gov was to blame for covering this incident up. (while most are quick to blame America as a whole) I never said we shouldn't make our Gov accountable for it's actions, either. I'm all for fighting for what's right, but to overthrow our gov would be counter productive. And contrary to Egypt or Syria, we're not even nearly as oppressed.
@xrsist And the fact of the matter is, that we can't overthrow the government should be a red flag to the citizens when our founding documents call for it when needed to start over when corruption takes hold.
@MintWorker Our country would be just like Syria, and other countries, and if you think not, look at the violence that happened with occupy and if that don't convince you, nothing will.
@MintWorker The problem with OWS, not all of Americans supported it, and businesses complained to the city. Cops just reacted. we should be free to protest, but should not be allowed to disrupt traffic, or the locals. And what violence are you speaking of? the deliberate pepper spraying or flash grenade throwing?the students were warned multiple times. the latter was just an individual cop that chose to do what he did, nothing systematic.
@xrsist OWS, according to statistic, take that as you want. Actually had quite a high rate of people who was alright with OWS and supported the message behind it. There was even a lot of people in the 1% who said, this country got troubles, you need to tax US higher. Im not making that up, they asked for higher taxes. Some media and some politician representives downplayed it however. Claiming false lies such as the lower bracket dont pay taxes (which they actually do, it's just a lie).
@hajkie yea, I remember reading about Warren Buffet being one of those rich people. I don't doubt they had high support, but what they protested about alienated most republicans with their demand for free education for example. I support most of their demands actually, but not the ones that are selfish, such as debt forgiveness.
@xrsist Yea, but this is just like a proposal list. Not everything has to go through. And things that dont go through can be negotiated and discussed to reach an acceptable outcome. As it is now the opposition to OWS dont want ANYTHING. They dont accept anything. And i would say that it is out of pure greed, since, instead of discussing it, they just come back with responses that distracts from the topic and try to trash talk people instead, or like mentioned, bring up lies.
@xrsist You're making my argument for me. You say it wasn't systematic. But all of the encampments were dismantled by local governments, and under who's direction? What ridiculous laws were the protesters breaking? That's where you and I differ. The process itself is broken. A new system needs to be built because the one we have is broken. Yes we can speak out, but being heard is another story altogether.
@MintWorker I wasn't sure of what oppression you were speaking of, in the case of the flash bang tossing, it wasn't systematic. The police had to respond to complaints about the disruption to local businesses that were caused by protesters. So they were just doing their job. We are allowed to protest, but should not be allowed to camp out indefinitely. The city of LA even offered OLA a plot of land, and a vacant down town office space. (just saying, not all Gov are equally evil)
@xrsist The government is comprised of morally bankrupt individuals who are protected by other morally corrupt people. How then do you suggest we rid ourselves of those individuals who have vast weaponry and resources. And you say we aren't as oppressed? Try looking at the occupy movement again and see just how many forces we have prepared to quell a rebellion in this country if we did try to overthrow the government. The corrupt politicians, and corporate entities wouldn't allow it to happen.
@MintWorker Voting doesn't work. Very few changes of significance have occurred through the normal process; civil rights being one, repealing slavery another major contribution. I'm not convinced that voting is a solution when we repeatedly get more of the same.
@MintWorker I still have hopes for localized voting, but the presidency is obviously hand picked. the key I think is for us to remain united, which is hard when people throw "left" and "right" around. We need to stop seeing things as a group. Cops are cops, there are good cops and bad, they are not thugs for the gov. Politicians are mostly bad, but some are good, after all they are people. We just have to sway the right person, and create a people's lobby of sorts.
@MintWorker@MintWorker I said in comparison to Syria. How spoiled are we Americans to think we're oppressed. We can still speak against our Gov, as we're doing now. There's still freedom of press(there are still some outlets aside from the mainstream), we can still effect change in this country without resorting to violence(such as striking down SOPA).
@aguilartwelve I wouldn't say they are defending against america. When US invaded, the borders became undefended, so people who didnt belong in the country invaded it too. So as a consequence because of the invasion a lot of real enemies came into the country. Which is who they are defending against.
Money oil & power ahahahahaha I'm sorry that shits funny. Most people don't play that oil card anymore mainly because gas is $4.25 gallon you must be really smart...
U.S. government DO NOT CARE about anything more than themselves. You are talking about extremist and you DO NOT SEE how extremist U.S.A. is. Because now you gonna tell me that all the muslims issues are not because the main religious in U.S.A. is Christianity. THIS IS ABOUT RELIGIOUS FANATICISM FROM EACH SIDE AS WELL.
U.S.A. FROM LONG TIME AGO DO NOT MAKE WAR THEY ARE GENOCIDES IF NOT COUNT THE CASUALTIES FROM EACH SIDE! NOT COUNTING ALL THE INNOCENTS!
@hajkie AND ALL AMERICANS HATE EVERYONE WHO IS NOT AMERICAN!
it is not about to defend Muslims, it is about that the U.S. is killing innocent people in name of freedom, FREEDOM OF WHAT! of oil and richness to keep going your insane life stile? Because what is more lunatic that to go to another country to devastate it and afterwards take the the big money back home! You can heard this guys in the video with the desperate desire of engage JUST FOR FUN!
These guys were probably in a hurry to return to base and join a bbq party or something. It is obvious they were shooting at unarmed ppl. We saw it and they saw it they just didn't care shooting at them. What i wanna know is where is the idiot that put them in a helicopter with a gun....that's what i wanna know.
the first computer was invented by the british tords end of world war 2, not only that but even if they were, you dont need respect to invent somthing. i am american and iagree full heartedly with america being one of the most currupt, distastful, unjust countrys on earth
Nobody know this, but directly after these guys landed they all had passionate gay sex in their barracks and then went home and beat their wives in shame.
One of those mother fuckers definitely has an RPG @ 3:40. Funny how they'll be so quick to point out the Reuters' employees, but don't have a little arrow pointing at buddy, with the text "Dude with a fucking rocket!" Just because they worked for Reuters doesn't mean they weren't supporting the insurgency. It looks as though they were going to take pictures of that asshole firing off his RPG. After all, anti-west propaganda comes from somewhere.
@jordon507 If theres any anti-west propaganda, then that anti-west propaganda comes from the US military itself. Since they are the ones who claimed these were all innocent people and apology letters have been sent to all involved families. =p
@hajkie Yah, I doubt they sent an apology letter to the guy carrying an RPG. They made no effort to visibly display their status as press or media representatives and their familiar behavior with, and close proximity to, the armed insurgents and their furtive attempts to photograph the coalition ground forces made them appear as hostile combatants to the Apaches that engaged them...shit happens when you're standing next to the enemy, them out of all people should have known that.
@Rda131Brian How ignorant are you? There is no justification here. Watch the video and simply imagine that being your neighborhood. Standing around bullshitting with a couple of friends. Trying your best to ignore the helicopter buzzing over your head. A "terrorist" or in the hypothetical situation I have provided, your neighbors, you, are killed because you have a gun. Then the ambulance driver is shot when trying to save your life, nay in this case the samaritan and his children.
@MrMattyChan I am NOT ignorant, but you on the other hand, you have not learned one God damned thing from 9/11. Muslims have this suicidal, murderous Death Wish built right into their HORRIFIC religion that they feel completes their journey of life, they call it "Jihad", IT'S WHAT THEY DO! If you choose to ignore these facts then you don't have a Chinamen's Chance at understanding what a "Real American" is all about!
@Rda131Brian Iraqi wasn't involved in 9/11. They don't do jihads. Did you know that Saddam didn't even like al'quaida? He executed terrorists caught in his country. Also, you're not speaking about muslims, you're speaking about extremists. And such people exists all over the place. Theres extremist christians in US.
@hajkie Iraq was not involved in 9/11, but you MUST REMEMBER that ALL Muslims absolutely HATE EVERYONE WHO IS NOT A MUSLIM! According to these facts, ALL MUSLIMS ARE EXTREMISTS who hate everyone who does not think exactly as they do. If you are not a Muslim and you defend these murderous lunatics, you should be declared insane.
@Rda131Brian Thats unfortunally not true. Take iran for example. You would think according to what everyone say, they would hate america right? Wrong. 85%, ATLEAST, according to statistics really dont care about others. They are fine with others. These ARE facts, since they are based on numbers. ;)
our great govt and our soldiers are allowed to get away with pure murder amongst 100's of other things, and they wonder why so many countries and people hate us....they are making us safer YAH THE FUCK RIGHT...WHAT A JOKE
Joe, they THOUGHT they were the enemy! In their minds they were preventing those guys from killing AMERICAN soldiers . In their minds they were protecting YOU and the rest of us . . they perceived them as the enemy . . it happens in war . . "friendly fire" . . mis identification . . it's tragic, . . but unintentional . . if they had known who those guys were . . do you really think they would have turned their cannons on them? C'mon . . Please!
@026985 Using "Dahh I thought they were the enemy" is no excuse, it should not be accepted as an excuse because it can then be exploited. And I don't think from the sound of it those soldiers were thinking about protecting anything. They hyped themselves up when they were clearly in no danger. Even I would have waited for some kind of hostile display. If the two journalists were known to be jounalists the group would have survived. It's smart not to kill a journalist. They know that.
@026985 You are RIGHT . . WHAT was I thinking . . they should have waited until an RPG was in the air . . with a trajectory directly at their Apache . . . absolutely . . after all, we want it to be a fair fight . . right? Hey, "Good people sleep peaceably in their beds at night because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf ~George Orwell~ Sweet Dreams . .
So when our US ground force came upon these guys and they were fired upon and we lost more soldiers, would the argument be "well I wish we wouldve shot those guys when we had a chance to" They will surround themselves with unarmed people to make themselves look innocent and harmless and then open fire and kill our US soldiers. There will be collateral damage and innocent people killed in war, those journalist knew what they were doing when they put themselves in that situation and in harms way.
Very sad, and whats more frightening is smart ppl know this has happened hundreds if not thousands of times over. Soon the US will have to fight the whole world, because its quiet obvious the whole world is sick of the US
Oh yeah, the kids that got shot & killed at your school today, they deserved it too, coz who send there kids to school right? What do they expect. FUCK USA
You guys do realize that the helicopter shooting is no where in sight of any ground forces right? i would much rather have some third world child killed then American soldiers, we follow orders to win a war, thats how it its done
All you critics have obviously never been in war, never been in a forward position, never engaged or been engaged by a hostile enemy . . in war, perception is REALITY . . and the perception was that these men were armed and the enemy . . it's tragic, but a fact of war . . . it's war.
@026985 That's bullshit, if you're too much of a pussy that you gotta kill people before you even know if they are enemies then you really shouldn't be in the military. Killing everyone isn't noble nor brave, it is murder and it is a cowardly act. The point of a soldier is to put his life on the line in defence of his country Killing everyone (including innocents) so you don't die yourself is COWARDLY!!! and it is no excuse. It is murder.
Hey romairgto, you're a dumbass! Or a troll, either way don't let me figure out who you are irl cause I'd love to kill an ignorant cunt like yourself ;)
I hope these soldiers were punished, they were just thirsty for blood! but what I don't understand is why their request was even approved, I mean I thought surely the person behind the request approving would be the one with some sense
Note to Journalist covering a war: Don't keep company with enemies of Free Nations!
Also its not a good idea to take children into street corner carnage, as well pay attention to instructions not to aid suspected enemies, company armed or not makes you a target, as well they are not going to let you take a wounded suspect away! Might Makes Right! No weapons, No shooting, they had weapons they got killed, choose your friends better >:)
Americas down fall is not so far, they will soon face the worst economic, social and political crisis. I believe Europe is a great country and it should stop supporting America for all its bad deed. I hate Israel and American policy MAKERS. I don't know about the people they maybe nice but the POLICY MAKERS ARE SHIT HEADS.
I have no respect for AMERICAN policy makers and American Army. The are looking for oil everywhere in the name of terrorism. US thinks it can declare any country a threat and then attack, low on life, Americans have no culture, no respect for elders, no respect for religion, no respect for relationships, most of them at illegitimate children of unknown fathers. In short the shitiest nation on earth is AMERICA! I hope these people rot in hell, Every super power faces its down fall.
@pastryist you had me until you started stringing in religious/cultural bullshit. You say that some lowly sack of shit who lived his whole life on welfare deserves my respect because he is 65? your first 2 points are valid, but no one supports the war except christian conservatives the ones with RESPECT for RELIGION,No culture based on the respect that it is not the same as your culture? every society,no matter how devoid of morals it is,has a culture you ignorant piece of shit.
I can appreciate the anger you feel, and beg that you do not let it turn into hate for an entire nation. I dont agree with war, i dont agree with violence or invasion, the actions of the government and the few people in power in the united states do not reflect the views of the entire nation. Most people in the US agree that the actions against these people are horrific, wrong and it needs to stop, we want our voices heard in our government! we want the us to mind its own business!
@pastryist America is a large country with many people and you are condemning the lot because of a (relative) few's actions. There are MANY Americans who have culture, respect for Elders, for religion and relationships. And it might come as a surprise to you, but many also marry BEFORE they have children, and they know who the father of their children is :).
@Che4Grafx Dear, I am 22 and Muslim by religion, now you patriots are going to be luck she is Muslim that is why she made such hatred comments, I belong to the country where Osama Bin Ladin was shot dead yes of course Pakistan. I am not a religious person, or radical towards religion. More then half of my family lives in the US since few decades. I never thought as a modern person I would ever hate such a well developed democratic country, but now even the modern youth of Pakistan who
@pastryist [cont] studied abroad, have modern and civilized approach towards living have developed HATRED towards America likewise the radical islamist students in Pakistan. Why hate America so much?
1st) Our stupid corrupt government good for nothing take funds like beggars from the west not to serve Pakistani people but to fill in their own pockets. 99.9% of our politicians are corrupt, except the rising star of our politics Imran Khan. The Pakistani people are sick and tired of gov already
@pastryist [cont] and on top of that we have Drone attacks, suddenly Osama was found in Abbotabad, More Drone attacks, More Afghani taliban crossing our borders, more jihadi coming to Pakistan. WE ARE FUCKING SICK OF THESE SITUATIONS.
We have so much talent in our country, normal Pakistanis are peaceful educated and modern but what does the BBC, CNN show? mountains, people with long beard, Mullahs, radical pakistanis which are fewer in number. Dammit why don't you show the tourists spots?
@pastryist [cont] fashion weeks? shopping places? food places? why only the media show poor people, dirty roads, trashy buildings? I mean that's such a turn off for a viewer. Pakistanis are so welcoming, friendly, party people.
But when country like AMERICA tries to boss around it pisses us off. Yes our gov is being paid to say YES to America but not us (the REAL PAKIS)
@pastryist America has its presence in IRAQ, AFGHANISTAN, and now all eyes on IRAN. America is found everywhere the oil is.. I agree on the Afghan issue, there were talibans but damn it there are still talibans they are in action again. After wasting so much money on the war AMERICA wants to make peace with PRICKS talibans?
@pastryist America today said it faces threats from IRAN, like IRAN may attack Isreal (good for nothing country) and then IRAN. Does America really thinks IRAN is a threat? their atomic power is underprocess? how can they throw unprocessed bomb? and look at US and Israel? they are much loaded with ammunition they think IRAN is a big threat? OH actually a new reason to attack on a country.
@pastryist Americas have the freedom of speech, its a free democratic country but I have never seen a major break through from groups to protest against wars, to stop America to even think on attacking IRAN. Tell your government to use your taxes on common American people instead wasting tax money on war. Why America will face defeat in the end, you already know the economic crunch. Americans maybe nice but they never speak loud about their government unethical actions.
@pastryist I don't know if US is the puppet of Isreal or ISRAEL is a puppet of America?
Pakistan have had enough of America now, and we are back to make peace with our neighbours INDIA, IRAN, AFGHANISTAN. They have become our priority now, and we believe the EU will support us because we share good trade with them,
@pastryist America is not as free as it once was. The government has slowly been making laws to limit our freedom, to the point that we ARE protesting, and that's not all we protest. We are using our voices to let our government know we do not agree - with the "war", with butting in other countries' business, with the corruption in our government, the Fed, and banking. We ARE protesting now and many of the protesters, who are exercising their 1st amendment right to free speech...
@pastryist and to peacefully protest, are being shot with rubber bullets, gassed, beaten, arrested; some are suffering permanent nerve damage to their hands because of zip ties that are put on too tight, on purpose; people being crammed too many to a jail cell, after being left kneeling on pavement for 3-6 hours, some passing out, some require medication for diabetes and other ailments are being denied medical care. They are trying to discourage people from joining the protesters...
@pastryist but their efforts are failing because the numbers of protesters are growing. They have destroyed our economy with their greed and there are no jobs for many people; whole families living in vehicles, or boxes, or whatever/wherever they can. No, this is not the free democratic America that I was born in 53 years ago. I don't recognize this country (the government) anymore. When governments mistreated their citizens, my government would protest and support their human...
@pastryist ...rights. But now, they are doing the same thing that they have protested in other countries...and worse. Obama made an illegal law that says the military can arrest anyone they "suspect" as being a terrorist. That could be ANYone ANYwhere. Then, they can hold that person indefinitely.. FOREVER if they want.. without bringing charges, no trial, no due process of the law. Another law he passed says he can strip that person of their citizenship and treat them as a prisoner..
@pastryist ..of war, keeping them locked up in internment camps, maybe even executing them. No this is not the government of our democracy. So yes, we ARE telling our government to pull out of the so-called "war" and we ARE telling them we are not going to stand for it anymore. Of course, pretty soon many of us may find ourselves arrested in a camp, or facing a firing line. But we 'patriots' ARE speaking out about our government's unethical actions. The problem is, many Americans...
@pastryist ...are still unaware of what is going on since the news is being censored. Then there are many who have heard the truth, but it is too terrible and foreign for them to believe, so they would verbally attack us instead. There WILL come a time when everyone will know the truth, but I fear it will be too late then. Obama is basically setting up our government to be a dictatorship. We have presidential elections this year. There is one man of several that I believe can...
@pastryist ...help restore our economy and our freedom, but he has been almost totally ignored by the media, so many Americans have never even heard of him. His name is Senator Ron Paul. If we can get him in the White House he will bring our troops home and will not be so quick to send troops to any country, unless they threaten the safety of America. He does not believe in butting in to other countries' affairs uninvited. He wants to restore our Constitutionand freedom, and help...
@pastryist restore our economy. You may not have heard of him - the media is corrupt - and you apparently haven't heard of our protesting - the media is corrupt. But I tell you the truth, we ARE sick of what our government is doing and we are trying very hard to make change. It is just hard to make such an effect on such a large country when you have to inform people by word-of-mouth - the media is corrupt. So in a way, your citizens & our citizens are in the same position - victims..
@Che4Grafx It's not just a matter of convincing people of what you wish them to see. There are those so deep in in the swamp of denial, or those who've been conditioned by life not to challenge the powers that be for survival purposes, or for any number of other reasons.
@MintWorker True change will not come to the United States until the citizens of this country find their spine again as our founding fathers had when challenging the British for their independence, the United States will continue to spiral out of control toward its inevitable destruction. Those people who sit saying violence will not solve anything are only demonstrating their ignorance. Violence founded this country, and only through violence will it be reborn.
@pastryist ...of our governments. There are MANY countries around the world, no matter the race or religion, that are standing with us (the Occupiers/patriots, not the government) in solidarity, and are Occupying in protest of their own governments, as well. We have heard from Iceland, Greenland, the UK, Egypt, Canada, Australia, Brussels, Spain, Greece, Portugal, Italy, & MANY others. We will NOT STOP until we have restored our government, our country, & our freedom!.
@pastryist Oh and by the way, if Obama decided to declare martial law (because of all the peaceful protesting), there would be no election this year and he could remain in the White House. This is another fear we have to deal with.
@pastryist There are many beautiful and wondrous things in the United States; not all is bad; not all Americans are, either. I am an American and I am proud of my country; I am Native American, and I am proud of my Elders. I am NOT proud of the government, nor the military at this time, however, which is why I am a member of the Occupation. We are trying to make a change in our country, specifically in government. Obama was a huge mistake I saw from the beginning. When the whole...
@pastryist ...world seemed to be celebrating his "election', I had a very bad feeling. He has now signed the NDAA; created illegal laws; has made a mockery of the Constitution. Now our own military can arrest American citizens on American soil, calling them "terrorists", can strip them of their citizenship, and can treat them as prisoners of war in internment camps indefinitely with no trial/due process. These are dark days in America, with possibly darker still, so we could really...
@pastryist use more encouragement and support, and less criticism (at least aim it where it belongs, in Washington). Thank God we are receiving support and encouragement from many people around the world - so many others who are Occupying in their own countries, and it really helps morale when solidarity is in play, instead of division. Of course, there are so many trolls online who get off on starting trouble and bad feelings in forums. There are also people who are being paid...
@pastryist ...by the government and the 1% to cause dissent. "Divide and conquer" is still an effective military strategy that we are keenly aware of and on guard for. Verbal genocide is something that we, the 99%, are not in favor of, but we do expect it from some who are uninformed, some who are just angry at the condition of the world (as we are), and those who are our enemies and would try to gain strength in others by perverting the truth.
@pastryist I do not make a habit of visiting many forums, nor do I normally pay attention to that which is written therein, I make an occasional exception when I read a post such as yours. I have had the honor of reading posts from some of our military people who stated that, if orders came in for them to arrest innocent... citizens and place them in the camps, they would, under penalty of death, refuse. These are some of the men and women that make me proud to be an American.
@pastryist Americans, they would refuse. These are some of the very people that make me proud to be an American. Its not our government, our military strength, our elected officials, or large corporations that give us pride. It is those people who are not afraid, or despite the fear, stand up for our freedom and our rights. Those Occupiers that are under attack from local police, being tortured and prosecuted unfairly for exercising constitutional rights to peacefully protest...
@Che4Grafx THOSE are the patriotic heroes of my country who represent most of the population. So when people like you make flippant, damning remarks, verbal genocide, on my fellow Americans, it makes me wonder which category you fall into. Because I am hopeful, I would like to believe you are just uninformed and that, given the truth, you would be more supportive. The realist in me has doubts. As far as being uninformed, the American people are being lied to every day by an industry..
@pastryist ...that has found a legal way to bring propaganda to the people. Corporations own the network media, and have stupidly been granted "personhood" in America, another atrocity we are fighting. Considered a "person" a corporation can exercise 1st amendment right to freedom of speech, and are allowed to fabricate the news - in essence LIE to us. For this reason, Fox News, who had hopes of opening Fox North in Canada, were denied access by the Canadian government because they...
@pastryist have laws against lying in the news. We saw this as a minor victory, hoping it would open some American eyes to the truth, but alas without the network news to inform the people, most are still totally unaware of this (you can Google to confirm).
@pastryist Even local police, many of whom are torturing protesters, have an Occupy movement of their own, protesting what is happening to the protesters, and supporting us in the fight we undergo. So, to sum up, I agree with you and have no respect for MOST American policy makers and MOST of the powers-that-be in the military, I do take exception to the statement that, "the shitiest nation on earth is AMERICA! I hope these people rot in hell, Every super power faces its down fall."
@pastryist (This is the 12th msg posted, so if you are unaware, start at the bottom and plz read upwards). I respectfully ask that you cease your verbal genocide on my country, unless you are one of the last category, in which case anything you say is null and void anyway. Thank you for reading my rant. And for those who support and encourage us - SOLIDARITY!! :)
@pastryist Reminds me of that study, you know, the one where they found that the lower someone's intelligence the higher they rate their own skill, importance and intelligence.
So much tenacious, manic pride, all based on idiocy, misunderstanding, misreading and if made aware, an attempted, they think justified rewriting of reality. Intelligence and disagreement is seemingly outcast and punished. The lowest of the lowest.
@pastryist i come from America and trust me, a lot of the stuff you are saying is 100% true, I think the divorce rate is 1/2 at this point, the only culture we have is awful music, sports, expensive clothing, alcohol, drugs and cigarettes, and all the shit that comes along with them, our Govt has completely shit on our Constitution and the citizens are nothing but sheep anymore, working hard to help them succeed while most can't even afford food anymore, but tons are blinded by the medias lies!
@pastryist You have no problem using an American website, on the American invented internet, while probably sitting behind an American engineered computer. You piece of ignorant self righteous shit.
@pastryist Everyg you said is true but all that matters was this "I have no respect for AMERICAN policy makers and American Army. The are looking for oil everywhere in the name of terrorism. US thinks it can declare any country a threat and then attack, low on life," and, "In short the shitiest nation on earth is AMERICA!".
put yourself in their shoes and DO NOT SAY that is impossible, because they are civilians just like your family living in America, imagine a military helicopter from another country circling your town and shooting at your kids, your friends, your family??? HONEST TO GOD, I HOPE THE FUCKING WORLD ENDS BECAUSE THE HUMAN RACE HAS DESTROYED IT... WE ARE ALL SO SELFISH.
I hate that I am stuck in this fucking country, where young kids are sent off to kill, and turn into brainwashed young punks who have NO CONCERN FOR HUMAN LIFE... makes me absolutely sick... and then they return home with mental health problems and wonder why? America, you are destroying the fucking world, give it a break!!!!
Its good to know that someone is against the Evil, the one who protects the innocents. I am sorry to say that USA has lost that icon trough the worlds eyes. We all know now that the USA
has a dark background which makes war where ever oil and gas exist.
@oBLACKIECHANoo Chill out little man. I'm entitled to my own faith-based opinion... as are you. But to deride my personal belief just because you don't see in this video what I see... pure idiocy with a healthy dose of plain ol hate. Now who's REALLY got issues here?
@CatChick1964 So after 6 months you reply, then you act like people should just believe what they want to? Hmm.... no. Nobody on this planet should believe in fairy tales, end of story. And you somehow think being a christian makes a difference whether or not you should feel sick about this that's obviously not the case (even though nobody should feel sick over it)
@oBLACKIECHANoo What a sad little angry person you are. That you cannot accept someone else's beliefs and Live and Let Live just goes to show how black and twisted your heart really is.
@CatChick1964 Oh, I'm sorry that i don't want your idiotic book of lies to be slowing down the rest of humanity any more and causing more and more wars, I am so very sorry. I'm sorry that you want your lies taught as fact in schools and want to get rid of things like abortion and genetic engineering. Seriously, I am just so sorry for all the pathetic and horrible shit that YOU do.
You really cannot handle the fact that YOU might be wrong, can you? And what if I'm wrong... well then, I'm wrong. But do not come running to me on judgement day and blame me for your spending eternity in hell for not taking the time to even consider the possibilities that there might be one Omniscient Being out there that gave you life. I will continue in my faith regardless and as I said before...You are in my prayers.
@CatChick1964 By skimming your channel, it seems you are a creationist too, so congratulations, you have dropped in rank, from pathetic moron, to, so stupid that you are no longer considered human.
@oBLACKIECHANoo Like your opinion of me will change my life? Blackie, I did nothing to you to deserve the hate you are pouring out against me other than profess my faith in my Lord Jesus Christ. If you cannot accept that then you really do have some serious hate issues going on. I'm sorry for you that you cannot accept that everyone doesn't think exactly as you do.
Hate all you want and need to, I will still pray for your cold, twisted little soul.
And yes, I do have every right to believe whatever I wish. You want an Orwellian society or something? Be careful what you ask for. In that Orwellian society not even you would be allowed to vent your black hearted hatred or spew your malicious poison everywhere.
What on earth has happened in your life to cause you to hate like this? To pass such deadly judgement on people you know nothing about. Sad... so very, very sad.
And furthermore, what difference does it make how long it took me to reply? I have a life to live. My happiness does not depend on how many people I condemn for having a differing opinion than mine own.
Please. Go spread your dark rhetoric somewhere else. Find someone else who's heart is also a shapeless lump of black tissue that shares your hatred of all humanity. Together you can both simmer in your cesspools of demonic darkness and gorge yourself on each others angst.
You can tell from their body language that these men weren't looking to battle, yes two men had AK's but they're just casually swinging them around. Then they say there's an RPG when that is clearly NOT an RPG and if they were trying to fire a an RPG at them why is that when the helicopter circled around did none of the Iraqis try to take cover or even pay any attention to it? And then shooting a van full of unarmed civilians that are just trying to help a dying man, there is no excuse for that.
@bizzareodin While i agree with you on the part that those didnt look anything like ak47's nor RPG's. They probably wouldnt of even known the chopper was looking at them. The TADS viewing system on the apache has a lot of range on it. and based on the time it took for the rounds to hit the area, from when they were fired. They were a good mile away from the area when they engaged.

@ausiTOMAHAWK86 It's the responsibility of a good soldier to know when to and when to not fire. A drone follows order. A good soldier acts when the situation requires it even though he might get a punishment later.

The sad part about our country Gov is our actions rarely ever reflect our precious values.
xrsist 1 day ago
@xrsist they dont have rules of engagement because they are defending their country you fucking idiot, Defending against americas illegal war of aggression with no real cause beside greed. Fuck america.
aguilartwelve 19 hours ago
@aguilartwelve Wow, thanks for the personal attack. Real mature. Talk about aggression. My point, and I'll repeat was that if we actually went to war with an Arab country(say they invade the US), you'd think they would give two shits about rules of engagement? I'm in no way supportive of the atrocities committed by our gov, but we are a nation of individuals, and people make mistakes. Just as these soldiers did, and we do the right thing too, as mr Manning has shown us.
xrsist 13 hours ago
@aguilartwelve besides, where are you from? If you're in the US, the leave if you hate America so much.
xrsist 13 hours ago
@xrsist I had to respond to this. Try reading our founding documents again before saying something so blatantly ignorant. We're supposed to make those who do these things leave, even over throw our own government much like what's occurring with countries like Egypt, Syria (who last night on Anderson Cooper an individual was begging for help from anyone who would) The point is, we have a higher duty to keep this crap from happening not to cower from it.
MintWorker 12 hours ago
@MintWorker I'm not arguing with that, that's why I said the Gov was to blame for covering this incident up. (while most are quick to blame America as a whole) I never said we shouldn't make our Gov accountable for it's actions, either. I'm all for fighting for what's right, but to overthrow our gov would be counter productive. And contrary to Egypt or Syria, we're not even nearly as oppressed.
xrsist 11 hours ago
@xrsist Clarification: it would be counter productive to violently overthrow the Gov
xrsist 11 hours ago
@xrsist And the fact of the matter is, that we can't overthrow the government should be a red flag to the citizens when our founding documents call for it when needed to start over when corruption takes hold.
MintWorker 10 hours ago
@MintWorker Our country would be just like Syria, and other countries, and if you think not, look at the violence that happened with occupy and if that don't convince you, nothing will.
MintWorker 10 hours ago
@MintWorker The problem with OWS, not all of Americans supported it, and businesses complained to the city. Cops just reacted. we should be free to protest, but should not be allowed to disrupt traffic, or the locals. And what violence are you speaking of? the deliberate pepper spraying or flash grenade throwing?the students were warned multiple times. the latter was just an individual cop that chose to do what he did, nothing systematic.
xrsist 10 hours ago
@xrsist OWS, according to statistic, take that as you want. Actually had quite a high rate of people who was alright with OWS and supported the message behind it. There was even a lot of people in the 1% who said, this country got troubles, you need to tax US higher. Im not making that up, they asked for higher taxes. Some media and some politician representives downplayed it however. Claiming false lies such as the lower bracket dont pay taxes (which they actually do, it's just a lie).
hajkie 10 hours ago
@hajkie yea, I remember reading about Warren Buffet being one of those rich people. I don't doubt they had high support, but what they protested about alienated most republicans with their demand for free education for example. I support most of their demands actually, but not the ones that are selfish, such as debt forgiveness.
xrsist 10 hours ago
@xrsist Yea, but this is just like a proposal list. Not everything has to go through. And things that dont go through can be negotiated and discussed to reach an acceptable outcome. As it is now the opposition to OWS dont want ANYTHING. They dont accept anything. And i would say that it is out of pure greed, since, instead of discussing it, they just come back with responses that distracts from the topic and try to trash talk people instead, or like mentioned, bring up lies.
hajkie 10 hours ago
@xrsist You're making my argument for me. You say it wasn't systematic. But all of the encampments were dismantled by local governments, and under who's direction? What ridiculous laws were the protesters breaking? That's where you and I differ. The process itself is broken. A new system needs to be built because the one we have is broken. Yes we can speak out, but being heard is another story altogether.
MintWorker 10 hours ago
@MintWorker I wasn't sure of what oppression you were speaking of, in the case of the flash bang tossing, it wasn't systematic. The police had to respond to complaints about the disruption to local businesses that were caused by protesters. So they were just doing their job. We are allowed to protest, but should not be allowed to camp out indefinitely. The city of LA even offered OLA a plot of land, and a vacant down town office space. (just saying, not all Gov are equally evil)
xrsist 9 hours ago
@xrsist but yea man, that's where we do differ. I still happen to have hope for the current system. Peace.
xrsist 9 hours ago
@xrsist The government is comprised of morally bankrupt individuals who are protected by other morally corrupt people. How then do you suggest we rid ourselves of those individuals who have vast weaponry and resources. And you say we aren't as oppressed? Try looking at the occupy movement again and see just how many forces we have prepared to quell a rebellion in this country if we did try to overthrow the government. The corrupt politicians, and corporate entities wouldn't allow it to happen.
MintWorker 10 hours ago
@MintWorker Voting doesn't work. Very few changes of significance have occurred through the normal process; civil rights being one, repealing slavery another major contribution. I'm not convinced that voting is a solution when we repeatedly get more of the same.
MintWorker 10 hours ago
@MintWorker I still have hopes for localized voting, but the presidency is obviously hand picked. the key I think is for us to remain united, which is hard when people throw "left" and "right" around. We need to stop seeing things as a group. Cops are cops, there are good cops and bad, they are not thugs for the gov. Politicians are mostly bad, but some are good, after all they are people. We just have to sway the right person, and create a people's lobby of sorts.
xrsist 10 hours ago
@MintWorker @MintWorker I said in comparison to Syria. How spoiled are we Americans to think we're oppressed. We can still speak against our Gov, as we're doing now. There's still freedom of press(there are still some outlets aside from the mainstream), we can still effect change in this country without resorting to violence(such as striking down SOPA).
xrsist 10 hours ago
@aguilartwelve I wouldn't say they are defending against america. When US invaded, the borders became undefended, so people who didnt belong in the country invaded it too. So as a consequence because of the invasion a lot of real enemies came into the country. Which is who they are defending against.

jordon507 2 days ago

026985 3 days ago
@026985 Using "Dahh I thought they were the enemy" is no excuse, it should not be accepted as an excuse because it can then be exploited. And I don't think from the sound of it those soldiers were thinking about protecting anything. They hyped themselves up when they were clearly in no danger. Even I would have waited for some kind of hostile display. If the two journalists were known to be jounalists the group would have survived. It's smart not to kill a journalist. They know that.

@pastryist

The Pakistani people are sick and tired of gov already
pastryist 2 days ago
@pastryist [cont] and on top of that we have Drone attacks, suddenly Osama was found in Abbotabad, More Drone attacks, More Afghani taliban crossing our borders, more jihadi coming to Pakistan. WE ARE FUCKING SICK OF THESE SITUATIONS.
We have so much talent in our country, normal Pakistanis are peaceful educated and modern but what does the BBC, CNN show? mountains, people with long beard, Mullahs, radical pakistanis which are fewer in number. Dammit why don't you show the tourists spots?
pastryist 2 days ago
@pastryist [cont] fashion weeks? shopping places? food places? why only the media show poor people, dirty roads, trashy buildings? I mean that's such a turn off for a viewer. Pakistanis are so welcoming, friendly, party people.
But when country like AMERICA tries to boss around it pisses us off. Yes our gov is being paid to say YES to America but not us (the REAL PAKIS)
pastryist 2 days ago
@pastryist America has its presence in IRAQ, AFGHANISTAN, and now all eyes on IRAN. America is found everywhere the oil is.. I agree on the Afghan issue, there were talibans but damn it there are still talibans they are in action again. After wasting so much money on the war AMERICA wants to make peace with PRICKS talibans?
pastryist 2 days ago
@pastryist America today said it faces threats from IRAN, like IRAN may attack Isreal (good for nothing country) and then IRAN. Does America really thinks IRAN is a threat? their atomic power is underprocess? how can they throw unprocessed bomb? and look at US and Israel? they are much loaded with ammunition they think IRAN is a big threat? OH actually a new reason to attack on a country.
pastryist 2 days ago
@pastryist Americas have the freedom of speech, its a free democratic country but I have never seen a major break through from groups to protest against wars, to stop America to even think on attacking IRAN. Tell your government to use your taxes on common American people instead wasting tax money on war. Why America will face defeat in the end, you already know the economic crunch. Americans maybe nice but they never speak loud about their government unethical actions.
pastryist 2 days ago
@pastryist I don't know if US is the puppet of Isreal or ISRAEL is a puppet of America?
Pakistan have had enough of America now, and we are back to make peace with our neighbours INDIA, IRAN, AFGHANISTAN. They have become our priority now, and we believe the EU will support us because we share good trade with them,
pastryist 2 days ago
@pastryist America is not as free as it once was. The government has slowly been making laws to limit our freedom, to the point that we ARE protesting, and that's not all we protest. We are using our voices to let our government know we do not agree - with the "war", with butting in other countries' business, with the corruption in our government, the Fed, and banking. We ARE protesting now and many of the protesters, who are exercising their 1st amendment right to free speech...
Che4Grafx 2 days ago
@pastryist and to peacefully protest, are being shot with rubber bullets, gassed, beaten, arrested; some are suffering permanent nerve damage to their hands because of zip ties that are put on too tight, on purpose; people being crammed too many to a jail cell, after being left kneeling on pavement for 3-6 hours, some passing out, some require medication for diabetes and other ailments are being denied medical care. They are trying to discourage people from joining the protesters...
Che4Grafx 2 days ago

We have presidential elections this year. There is one man of several that I believe can...

Che4Grafx 2 days ago
@Che4Grafx It's not just a matter of convincing people of what you wish them to see. There are those so deep in in the swamp of denial, or those who've been conditioned by life not to challenge the powers that be for survival purposes, or for any number of other reasons.
MintWorker 1 day ago
@MintWorker True change will not come to the United States until the citizens of this country find their spine again as our founding fathers had when challenging the British for their independence, the United States will continue to spiral out of control toward its inevitable destruction. Those people who sit saying violence will not solve anything are only demonstrating their ignorance. Violence founded this country, and only through violence will it be reborn.
MintWorker 1 day ago
@pastryist ...of our governments. There are MANY countries around the world, no matter the race or religion, that are standing with us (the Occupiers/patriots, not the government) in solidarity, and are Occupying in protest of their own governments, as well. We have heard from Iceland, Greenland, the UK, Egypt, Canada, Australia, Brussels, Spain, Greece, Portugal, Italy, & MANY others. We will NOT STOP until we have restored our government, our country, & our freedom!.
Che4Grafx 2 days ago
@pastryist Oh and by the way, if Obama decided to declare martial law (because of all the peaceful protesting), there would be no election this year and he could remain in the White House. This is another fear we have to deal with.

Che4Grafx 2 days ago
@pastryist I do not make a habit of visiting many forums, nor do I normally pay attention to that which is written therein, I make an occasional exception when I read a post such as yours. I have had the honor of reading posts from some of our military people who stated that, if orders came in for them to arrest innocent... citizens and place them in the camps, they would, under penalty of death, refuse. These are some of the men and women that make me proud to be an American.
Che4Grafx 2 days ago
@pastryist Americans, they would refuse. These are some of the very people that make me proud to be an American. Its not our government, our military strength, our elected officials, or large corporations that give us pride. It is those people who are not afraid, or despite the fear, stand up for our freedom and our rights. Those Occupiers that are under attack from local police, being tortured and prosecuted unfairly for exercising constitutional rights to peacefully protest...
Che4Grafx 2 days ago
@Che4Grafx THOSE are the patriotic heroes of my country who represent most of the population. So when people like you make flippant, damning remarks, verbal genocide, on my fellow Americans, it makes me wonder which category you fall into. Because I am hopeful, I would like to believe you are just uninformed and that, given the truth, you would be more supportive. The realist in me has doubts. As far as being uninformed, the American people are being lied to every day by an industry..
Che4Grafx 2 days ago
@pastryist ...that has found a legal way to bring propaganda to the people. Corporations own the network media, and have stupidly been granted "personhood" in America, another atrocity we are fighting. For this reason, Fox News, who had hopes of opening Fox North in Canada, were denied access by the Canadian government because they...
Che4Grafx 2 days ago
@pastryist have laws against lying in the news. We saw this as a minor victory, hoping it would open some American eyes to the truth, but alas without the network news to inform the people, most are still totally unaware of this (you can Google to confirm).
Che4Grafx 2 days ago
@pastryist Even local police, many of whom are torturing protesters, have an Occupy movement of their own, protesting what is happening to the protesters, and supporting us in the fight we undergo. So, to sum up, I agree with you and have no respect for MOST American policy makers and MOST of the powers-that-be in the military, I do take exception to the statement that, "the shitiest nation on earth is AMERICA! I hope these people rot in hell, Every super power faces its down fall."
Che4Grafx 2 days ago

That's how it looks to an outsider at least,

@pastryist i come from America and trust me, a lot of the stuff you are saying is 100% true, I think the divorce rate is 1/2 at this point, the only culture we have is awful music, sports, expensive clothing, alcohol, drugs and cigarettes, and all the shit that comes along with them, our Govt has completely shit on our Constitution and the citizens are nothing but sheep anymore, working hard to help them succeed while most can't even afford food anymore, but tons are blinded by the medias lies!

@oBLACKIECHANoo Chill out little man. I'm entitled to my own faith-based opinion... as are you. But to deride my personal belief just because you don't see in this video what I see... pure idiocy with a healthy dose of plain ol hate. Now who's REALLY got issues here?
CatChick1964 3 days ago
@CatChick1964 So after 6 months you reply, then you act like people should just believe what they want to? Hmm.... no. Nobody on this planet should believe in fairy tales, end of story. And you somehow think being a christian makes a difference whether or not you should feel sick about this that's obviously not the case (even though nobody should feel sick over it)
oBLACKIECHANoo 3 days ago
@oBLACKIECHANoo What a sad little angry person you are. That you cannot accept someone else's beliefs and Live and Let Live just goes to show how black and twisted your heart really is.

@CatChick1964 Oh, I'm sorry that i don't want your idiotic book of lies to be slowing down the rest of humanity any more and causing more and more wars, I am so very sorry. I'm sorry that you want your lies taught as fact in schools and want to get rid of things like abortion and genetic engineering. Seriously, I am just so sorry for all the pathetic and horrible shit that YOU do.
oBLACKIECHANoo 3 days ago
@oBLACKIECHANoo LOL... Sorry. Yes, you certainly are.
I will continue in my faith regardless and as I said before...You are in my prayers.

oBLACKIECHANoo 3 days ago
@oBLACKIECHANoo Like your opinion of me will change my life? Blackie, I did nothing to you to deserve the hate you are pouring out against me other than profess my faith in my Lord Jesus Christ. If you cannot accept that then you really do have some serious hate issues going on. I'm sorry for you that you cannot accept that everyone doesn't think exactly as you do.
Hate all you want and need to, I will still pray for your cold, twisted little soul.
CatChick1964 3 days ago
And yes, I do have every right to believe whatever I wish. You want an Orwellian society or something? Be careful what you ask for. In that Orwellian society not even you would be allowed to vent your black hearted hatred or spew your malicious poison everywhere.
What on earth has happened in your life to cause you to hate like this? To pass such deadly judgement on people you know nothing about. Sad... so very, very sad.
CatChick1964 3 days ago

And then shooting a van full of unarmed civilians that are just trying to help a dying man, there is no excuse for that.
bizzareodin 3 days ago 14
@bizzareodin While i agree with you on the part that those didnt look anything like ak47's nor RPG's. They probably wouldnt of even known the chopper was looking at them. The TADS viewing system on the apache has a lot of range on it. and based on the time it took for the rounds to hit the area, from when they were fired. They were a good mile away from the area when they engaged.
