i have that gun but when i bought it in came in that colour

To do this slide mod, you just cut a triangular slot in the slide to where the slide catch can swing into and lock the slide. The slide catch has a little pin that keeps it from swinging all the way around, so that must be sanded down or removed.

how do you do the slide mod will it work if you just cut the slot out

That's pretty much the 4506, the only flaw in the design is the grip, on the real model the grip is straight.
