I hate to be the one to tell you, but your tractor is a 1961 551 Suburban which should have an H55 Lauson engine.

He;s absolutlet right. The 551 was the ONLY Wheel Horse with the mid engine and that transmission. By the way, the 400 was a 1960 model. The 1961 four horsepower was called a 401.
