  • To get default audio sent to a specific audio device you need to go to start--Control panel--Sound. Make sure you choice your audio device and press make default. Exit your games, browser, wmp and restart it.

  • ive got the opposite problem, i cant get audio to only play through my headset,

  • didnt work

  • @badboinic When you do change to new speakers / headset on WMP make sure you press Stop on the music or put on a new song or movie and the audio should transfer over.

  • And if u didnt understand it doesnt suck it just scared the shit out of me!

  • @MumfieGoesTS Sorry about that, we made new intro's and going to implement them on all of our new uploads.

  • your fucking intro sucks you scared me shitless!!!!!!

  • @MumfieGoesTS Me to D:

  • Hello, I'm trying to play my music and only my music through my speakers and the rest through my headset, is there an option on itunes that lets me do that?

  • @RSbouton4 Last time i checked, itunes does not have that option but windows media player does. if you follow the tutorial, keep your headset as default and use the speakers in the device options on WMP.

  • I wanna get all sound thru my speakers and just use my headset as a mic. any help?

  • @whitmanX23 best way to do that is go to your control panel and choose the sound box. in the playback select your speakers and make them as default. In recording select your headset microphone as default and then press apply and OK. This should default all of your sound to your speakers and use only your microphone for your configuration.

  • Honestly , i don't believe so. i do know that when a software is running is specifically uses only one device to send audio. I know with software's like skype or ventrillo they have multiple devices that could be used such as having the speakers ring when calling but the voices come through the headset.

  • is there anyway with XP i can get sound out of both my headphones and my laptop speakers at the same time??

  • @shanghaiboy303

If your using an aux impute just use a splitter, if usb not sure.

  • explain sarah

Nice vid atwhelp thanks for that

  • This video was just explaining how to use your speakers for windows media player and headset for everything else. Some computers have the option when you plug into the front headphone jack it will disable the back jack. It would be in the options for your sound control options.

  • And how to just turn the speakers off when I am on the headset? on my sound management I have buttons: Master volume, wave, SW synth, SPDIF, CD volume, mic volume. And there is absolutely no speakers that can be turned off.

If I off the master volume both the headset and the computer will be mute.

So I would really appreciate an explanation for dummies (me he he) so as to be able to turn off my computer speakers when I have my headset on.

    Thanking you in advance!

  • Though i have connected my headphones, am hearing sound from both the desktop speakers and also from the headphones. very weird!

    pls teach me how??

  • hi.. can u make a video how to enable headset connecting the headset to speaker.. plzz...
