GW is not an MMO. It is an Online RPG.

It does not feature a full world in which everybody interacts at the same time. The game is made of of private instances, which woun't qualify it as an MMO, but rather, a regular multiplayer RPG game.

this theme first appears during the quest in which the player makes a run for the "Eye of The North"... The part in which the player first meet Veek an that other dwarf guy... Its also the part where its advisable to run and never look back because if those chasing Destroyers catch you wont even have time to say "oooh... fuc.... (slash)" :D

Well my opinion get Guild Wars Nightfall or Guild Wars Prophecies (The first Guild Wars)

and Eye of the North is an expansion so u need only 1 of the 3 campaigns to play it.

Yes you should and there is only one expansion the others are standalone games but i'd recommended prophecies if you want storyline, factions if you want atmosphere and nightfall if you want to have hero's (CPU's that you can control and train)

You're best off starting with Guild Wars: Prophecies, which is the first game in the series. After that, you should get Eye of the North (Simply because it is epic).

World of Warcraft is quite fail to be honest, and Guild Wars is way better.
