You know, I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that I think that Guile's normals are (pound for pound) the best in the game. As far as range, speed and damage, they're pretty frigging awesome. Now that I think about it, Dictator's right up there too.

@TheMagister have u ever seen battles that guile vs sagat??? it'd been a very hard time for guile players facing sagat, even the latter was an average. in one word, sagat is on upper hand in projectiles, which are faster with up and down ways.

I love how Nemo finishes his opponents with Dash--->Super.

For those of you who don't know, it's REALLY hard to react to that super, its so fast. And not to mention her super does more chip than Ultra.

The amount of sustained pressure it required Nemo to take down this Guile player is insane. Guile's defense is so tight that he's one of the most frustrating characters to play against when someone good is playing him.

Partially true, it's only for players who don't cheese then they find Guile's D being extremely tight. However, there are more and more people finding out about how to cheese against Guile. There are so many moves that you can just keep spamming when vs'ing Guile and there's nothing he can do about it. Also it's harder to throw with Guile on land. I played Balrog too and I can grab people left and right so easy. Not with Guile.

the "proplem" with Newbie Sagats is that they are Tiger Shot Spammers

the good thing is that i can easy beat that with a EX-Holigan Combo with Cammy

Another "good" thing about Sagat Noobs is that they randomly do Tiger Knee, Tiger Uppercut, Ultra

so you just have to Counter it / Block it and Counter

And the Newbies only use HP & HK they are so sloow that you can counter this with a Ultra

Nemo is Absolutly dominating this Match and he really deserved the Win the Finish with the Super Combo is priceless

I want to say that i hate Guile players i mean even a Newbie could beat a good Player only with Turtling and using EX Special Moves thats why i hate Guile

There are countless Ken/Ryu/Sagat/Akuma/Gouken/Dha­lsim/Balrog players who turtle. How come you don't hate those? Oh so a shoto player spamming fireballs until the opponent jumps in to use Shoryu uppercut is not turtling? Spamming Hodoukens is not spamming but Guile shooting Sonic Boom is? huh..? And if you lost to noobs playing Guile who just know how to sit there firing off Sonic Booms and wait for you to jump in, that means you're a scrub. Don't the other Guile players, kid.

I have never met a Dhalsim turtle cause Noob are to afraid to loose with him cause it takes skill to win with Dhalsim

yes im a Noob myself youre right but i would at least try to play Guile a little different

I would never jump over a Hadoken into a Shoryuken i would block it or Dash Focus it or just jump straight up

well balrog is annoying too with all of his boxer skills well thats for me of course and the fireball spaming everybody uses that even the "pro" with sagat and ryu you know who ? doesn';t anyway the most annoying for me is when you playing and somebody chalenge you and you think well i will play just one , and the motherfucker choose gouken thats what i hate most (sorry "gouken players") with the stupid counters of him anyway i hate guile too :)

Guile's crouching HK is pretty shit. If blocked, you can just absorb the second sweep or just punish it with your ultra. And Chun in this case can simply Hazanshu over it.

No? What I'm saying is that if Guile executes his sweep on opponents block, the opponent has options to punish the second sweep while Guile is still in the animation. Therefore, for example if Guile sweeps on Chun, and she blocks the first hit - Guile might end up eating her ultra if the Chun player is clever enough.
