After thinking about it, the only update I would suggest is replacing Harby's voice over in the beginning (which I think is an awesome idea) with his "futility" speech from Arrival (which I know was not available when you made this trailer) so it would complement Harby's voice over during the second half without a part of it being repeated (the latter "infinitely greater" and "you will arise part").
that was pretty impressive. But from a critical view, i'd say it was just a tad lengthy. It's just my opinion though, no need to go spreading it around.
how did you get the video quality so nice? Anyways it's really good! I like the intro with the "human" sets it off very nicely. And the liara speech is very effective ^^
I was wondering did you record these clips your self or did you get them from some where? If you recorded them what software did you use? Also what is the scene with Liara standing near fire at the end talking to Sheppard with her helmet off? I don't remember that scene in mass effect 2? Great job on this!!!! @XenosagaForever Back then my editing software was Magix Video Deluxe which included a screen capturing utiity I used for the recording. But I would recommend Fraps. That is what I'm using now, because the performance is much better.
The scene at the end is from ME1 but the audio is from ME2.

For a moment I thought you were going to do something NO fan trailers have tried to do, which is to showcase the diverse endings the game can present. When everything went into reverse I thought you were going to show the other endings, where everyone died. Then you sorta stopped. Still a nice video, but I almost got what I wanted. ;)
@Coruscant0 I had two video tracks. One for the ME2 logo that was above one with Shepard and the picture frame. Then I faded the logo out.
Back then I used some video editing software by Magix. It supported multiple audio and video tracks and was ok for basic editing. I was pretty satisfied until I started using the trial version of Adobe Premiere for my DA2 trailer. Now I have to say that Premiere is much better. The performance is great and I really don't want to miss some of it's features.

I REALLY loved when the video played backward and Harbinger essentially was saying how futile it all was, but we didn't need two 'cut the act's going on. Pick one. Still, wow. Favorited.

If I may suggest a couple things: leave the logo out until the end, be careful with the black screens in between clips, maybe have them fade in and out, and if you're going to cut the music off for a humorous line, it doesn't really work with that sort of hyper-emotional music. @Slayer398 Yeah, while the first vid was supposed to be a real trailer this one is more about representing my Shep's personality. I actually tried to break some trailer conventions. The next version will probably be more like a trailer, again.
Fantastic video. The Liara romance part steals the show, even though I play as male Shep I also have Liara as my LI so the end scene fits my playthroughs very well and is really touching to watch, it never fails to get my emotions going. I always get watery eyed when Liara tells you about what happened to Shep's body.
@MaGunkster Yes, it's long and could've ended at 1:50, but I like it. There's a segment I'm not really satisfied with but it's already full of Shep and squad. So I guess your point is about the fist half which is mostly Shep examining her new environment and concludes in a collage of preparations and fighting the collector vessel? I think long cuts work well.

@dragnridr05 She just died when I was recording. I didn't wanted her to. Actually, I was very upset about her death. I really believed she could handle the leading role because of Freedoms Progress.. I forgot that she got her whole squat killed that day.
As for why I put it in the trailer:
I think it's pretty emotionally engaging. It stings me every time I see her die.
It also shows that my Shepard makes mistakes and isn't perfect.
Plus I wanted to give those two coffins some meaning.

I was pretty satisfied until I started using the trial version of Adobe Premiere for my DA2 trailer. Now I have to say that Premiere is much better.
