This "tut" is fucking retarded. UnPn is required for some games and applications, disabling this is just dumb. If you have a router forward your ports.
Haha dude you are to me congratulated! im moving over to aussie tomorrw and have so many things ive needed to download to store to flash drive before o go and this has been a gift from above thanks
hi trying to portforward vuze at 192.168.1.1 but admin won t work both times when asked , what do i try for the pw admin works for the name but not pw so what now please pm me - need fast help -thanks
hey what program do i need or what do i need to do. to burn these downloaded movies on dvd.. an if u can tell me how to put downloaded games on all the systems thanks
when u go to services.msc u want to stop upnp host devices, cause that will stop my network sharing and I use xbox 360 to play songs and movies and stuff.
whoa, well, your thing helped me, but on utorrent, what i did is i disabled upnp port mapping, and my speed shot up from 150 KB/s to about 230 KB/s.....Thanks For The Help, i guess.....
Port forwarding (sometimes referred to as tunneling or virtual servers) is the act of forwarding a network port from one network node to another. This technique can allow an external user to reach a port on a private IP address (inside a LAN) from the outside via a NAT-enabled router. - Wiki
A router is basically (for me) a moderm with wireless capabilities - not technical term but descent I think.
ok i did this... before i did it i was dloading at tops 370 a second. i really havent noticed a fifference. just curious..., can it be faster or is 370 a sec alot?
you have to have a static ip if you want to port forward, go into your router settings( type your router ip into the task bar) then select port forwarding and enter the port you want to forward - its pretty easy. if your router automatically asigns an ip you will have to change it to static.
I recommend Port Forwarding. Although it depends what you download. Movies and music. Movies will take awhile depending on the number of peers their are... I get up to 300 Kb/s
Your downloads will be slow as crap no matter what kind of connection you have. I have cable and if i dont forward my ports right i would get maybe 10kb/s. Is that what you get?
on voit juste RIEN!

You have to port forward no matter what unless your not using a router. I get about 560kb/s max. Not bad for Cable.

I tried disabling Upnp in: Azureus, Service.msc and the router, but still my Azureus is firewalled. How can I get NAT OK again?
I'm really getting tired of this :(
kwark1985 4 years ago
you should forward your ports if you want NAT to be OK.
skoushik333 3 years ago
