I just watched the video of them playing for a gathering in 1970 hosted by Kathryn Kuhlman playing the same song. What a blessing they are. Who new back then just how much the Lord was going to use them. They came and did a performance in Marshalltown, IA. as the band Wing And A Prayer minus Chuck Girard in1974. I got to see them again in Kansas City MO. for the reunion tour in 1976 or 77.
I', filled with emotions as I watch this. Love Song was the first Christian group I saw in concert in 1973 while at Evangel College (now University) in Springfield, MO. They left such an indelible impression on me that continues to this day.
... I am still crying and basking in the afterglow ,') .... God is still using these men and their music to Save and Welcome us back to our first Love.

After trusting Christ as my Savior my aunt took me to the Christian book store to pick out some Christian music. This album was playing at the bookstore when we arrived. I told my aunt that that was the one I wanted. I was 18 at the time---so many years have passed. I thank God for saving me. Praise the Lord!
Wow seems like yesterday when we stumbled on the beach where the baptism was about to get under way. I remember two cats asking us if we knew Jesus they sat there and talked to us right up until they had to get in the water.Later they came back as we where just hanging out and we talk some more seemed like hours. Someone came and picked up later on don’t remember their name we end up driving up the coast to till we ended up in San Francisco good to see their still true to what they believe.

They will be playing at Crossroads Church in Denver on Sept 15th! I can not wait to hear them! come and hear them with me for the first time! See where it all started for many!
LOVE SONG simply made great, innovative and spiritual music, at a time when in many churches still traditional songs from ancient centuries were sung. It's such a pleasure to see them performing again. And the spirit is still the same. Thanx for posting and GBY

Sooo precious! Love Song was instrumental in making me a worshiper. I came across this video in doing a research project on the genre of contemporary Christian music. Thank you Love Song for opening the doors of worship to a struggling 17 year old back in 1978.
This video is absolutely priceless to anyone who loves music and loves the Lord....as a former Christian DJ, I gave this, and "Little Pilgrim" , alot of air time and a very special place in my heart!!!
