Just wondering you connected the two Dell monitors up? Are you connecting the Dell's using the DVI ports? Are you using a MiniDP to DVI connector for each Dell monitor?
Why can't anyone figure out the prices of Macs? If you break it down, they are more expensive to make. With the 27" iMac costing $2,000, everyone keeps saying "oh, I got my computer for 700 bucks and it can do what the iMac does! The screen alone costs $1000, but everyone seems to overlook that. I'd like to see someone get a $700 PC that includes a 27" 2560x1440 monitor.
@gakio12 You know gakio I am a PC Fan..but I have to say when you are right you are right...I never looked at the monitor...and 2560x1440 is a big deal.
srlsy.... nothing special. Just tried it out on my crappy lapptopp with an intel family integrated chipset (prop the worst graphcard I ever used) and quite unimpressive specs over all, and it made 2 full HD with ease, the third with lagg though butt still.
My stationary comp ~700 usd price, can handle 4 with ease. Much more for the money. u don't by mac for the performance, u buy it for other reasons.
@iDavid3GS I love my macs... but dude... This is the first time I've seen a Mac be able to do this While Ive seen ATI Radeon powered PC's do this for almost 2 years
@iDavid3GS what?? Mac doesn't play 1080p content despite using the iMac..max is probably 720p if not mistaken. what makes you think PC can't afford to do that? I own a mac too,but your comment is sarcastic !
are you kidding me you fucking buffoon? I can run SIX 2560 X 1440 monitors on my Windows Computer. Yeah, a 3 X 2 grid array of monitors and I can run (6) 1080p videos, render a HD movie, and everything else at the same time thanks to my gaming rig. So you can suck one.
@amoghthegamer Are you saying you own a computer that can support six 2560x1440 displays? Hmmm...
Also, as a response video, let's see your 3 monitor system run 3 1080p movies simultaneously like this guy has, I'd like to see it because when people like iDavid3GS make sweeping statements like he has, he and the rest of us need to be shown the real truth of what a Windows system can do.
@amoghthegamer Ok, I applaud your ability to look things up on the net, i can do that too. btw it's six 1920x1080 displays your example systems are capable of, not six 2560x1440 displays.
Come on, let's see you upload a video of your system.
Look at my profile, and the room tour, I show my computer and 2 monitors i had running temporary, currently I just added a third 42" TV as the proprietary display.
That is my room and at the time I recorded the video I did not have my 5870's since I had to RMA them, but I do have the boxes and the cables, which I'll put up a video.
@amoghthegamer Boxes and cables? I don't get what you mean. I asked at the very beginning if you could show your system play 3 1080p videos on your 3 monitor system (1 video per monitor). Can you do this please?
I just bought 27inch i5 refurb,2011 may, 3.1 quadcore, with 3 yr bumper to bumper, for $1600. on apple refurb site.
Then go to macmall for the 16gb ram for $180.
Apple stands behind that 3 yr extended warranty.
I use Maya and Adobe master collection just fine.

LOL! Obvious fanboy statement. I've been doing multiple monitors on PCs for years.
Only in 2011 has Apple finally come out with a iMac with dual high res video outputs.

@amoghthegamer I think everyone here knows you're talking bullshit, or would you care to upload a working video of this?

I don't own 6 monitors anymore. I only own 3 currently. I never stated I did run 6 I stated I CAN run 6.
