  • what do you do for work?

  • YOU ARE PLAYING TIME TO SAY GOODBYE!!!! SARAH BRIGHTMAN AND ANDREA BOCELLI!!

  • omg you are soo adorable! hahaha

  • i swear this said baked zit...

  • just so everybody knows, ANDREA BOCELLI was the one who sung the background song, there have been many versions, but that one was andrea its on the album "Romanza" the original, not the english version... because there is a female singer on all other versions of the song... its also called "Con te partirò" NOT time to say goodbye. time to say goodbye is not the same as this.

  • @opahfish and the baked ziti was great, although i suggest not using goat cheese if you are not a fan. but overall a tasty dinner. thanks!

  • this is a God send for a single guy...i was getting tired of chips and microwavable crap

  • The variation of Baked Ziti I'm especially fond of involves a couple of legs up in the air on the counter and a 10" sausage entering the bearded clam.

  • @youtubinwizeass that's so clever....did it take you long to come up with that??? your parents must be mad proud of you

  • @PrincessDiana161 Thank you. No, actually it only took a few minutes, a couple bottles of wine, and a willing grandmother.

  • @youtubinwizeass So sad that some mothers do have'em. Even sadder that you had to put your 2 cents in. Ya fuckin' jerkoff. Now, why don't you get yourself a job, move out of your mother's basement, and quit bothering us?

  • @ddrose06 You're right. I wish I could get a job and be like everybody else...I want to and all, I really do but, nobody will hire me because the state says I can't be around children. That sucks because I love children...I REALLY REALLY LOVE CHILDREN!

  • @youtubinwizeass Stupid. :|

  • @RocketRodder I thought the video was quite good actually.

  • Aahhhhhh!

I gotta stop watching people make delicious food when I'm so hungy.

And I accidentally hit the "flag as inappropriate". Sorry.

  • I love your videos... thanks for the Ziti recipe!

  • I can see the Ziti and the sauce mixed together but the cheese's? I rather have the cheese on top of the pasta and bake it, you get the melted cheese at top, OH MY I JUST ORGASM-ED.

  • Thanks Mrs. Soprano. Looks great! But you didn't tell us about oven temps.

  • @MyNameIsChrisR LOL....350 degrees

  • I love your italian smack talk!!!

  • @cthibadeau

its not italian, its italian-AMERICAN. trust me, theres not much similar about the two.

  • how long do you cook it for and on what temp? also is there a specific type of goat cheese that you use? thnx

  • My mom and I made your ziti and it was REALLY GOOD. Thanks for your help and wonderful recipe :)

  • You and Frankie are hilarious! I love Italians!

  • @Nellah5 italian-AMERICANS

  • WHO says "ew" to goat cheese!? Goat cheese is the best stuff in the world!

  • I'm sorry if I missed it somewhere, but what temp did you set the oven to?

I'm really excited to try this recipe out! Thanks so much! Love your vids!!!!

  • great video! love the background music also

  • great vid. if you put the goat cheese in will it taste really good and also can i brown up some ground beef and mix it with the sauce? great vid

  • @jenniexpark sure you can....you can also add ground sausage too :)

  • Save me a dish!

  • if food network offers you a show, pleazze say no!!! you are such a blessing and if you went of that channel, i feel like they'd ruining you!!! i love your italain recipes!!!

  • how long do you put it in the oven and for how long?

  • Questions: Could I add browned chop meat to this without changing the ratios of the other ingredients around? How much meat would you recommend?

Thanks, and the recipe looks fantastic. If I cook it, I'll be sure to leave my opinion of it here.

  • @WellConditionedChimp I would add just like 1lb of ground beef...it wont change the taste...just make it better :)

  • I'm always surprised at how many people will comment without having cooked the recipe they viewed....

  • This woman is hilarious. God bless Italians.

  • what tempature in the over> 350? you never told us?

  • I love the recipe. I personally love just a bit of my famous homemade meat sauce on top along with some grated Parm.

But that is just me. You may like it too.

    Thanks for all your love.

  • If we were not married, we would be married. From a Chicago WOP to a NY WOP. Love Ya.

I love when you cross your eyes. You are so damn cute!

  • I love the mother/son dynamic....you guys play off of each other really well

  • i made this with penne instead. did NOT rinse my pasta, so cheesy and good :D

  • You and Frankie? I am sorry if I spelt his name wrong, were so entertaining. I totally agree with you on not washing the pasta. My husband tried to do that when I asked him to help me stir the sauce, then he decided to touch my pasta and try and rinse it out. I had to slap his hand for touching my pasta and tell him to get out of my kitchen. I regret asking him for help when he touches something i never told him to touch. eww. =) Nice job Diana.

  • Why O! Why are you not on Food Network?!

    God Bless You.

You've just solved one of my greatest childhood mysteries... Living on the West Coast has made it nearly impossible to get "down home" Italian like what you make.

Italian food out here is too "precious." Know what I mean?

  • "You're like Rosemary's Baby with the raw meat!" lol

  • God bless you, its 2am and I want some baked ziti. Possibly you could adopt me or something? It looked delicious and you don't look fat in the shirt. Give Frankie a slap!

  • princess D,

I forgot to ask you yesterday....Did you pam or grease your pan before putting the ziti in it? If you dont pam it will the cheese and noodles stick to the bottom?

  • You can Pam it... I use the olive oil Pam... if you don't have that just spread some oil with a paper towel :)

  • Hi....I love your cooking style! I have never tried goat cheese in ziti. I am so making this tomorrow for dinner. Oh- and bytheway. I love that large baking pan. What kind of pan is that?? I always use a 9x13 and it is never big enough.

    Debbie

  • Great video, girl! If you and Frankie were on Food Network I would definitely watch. I saved this ziti video for my husband who doesn't even cook, but will appreciate you, as he loves Sopranos, and Goodfellas is his favorite movie. Background music is great touch!

  • Ohhh I am so tryingthis recipe. I jsut stumbled upon your videos today... and I can't STOP watching... I have a notebook here writing down recipes planning my next big meal.. appetizers, main course, desert everything.. thanks!!! you make cooing look enjoyable, and easy.

  • GREAT RECIPE, wonderful personality--you really need to consider Food Networks Next Star! I'm sure you can school Giada! :)

  • i love the way u talk, im gonna try this..

  • Just two words "MARRY ME"

  • 16oz of Mozzarella and 4oz goat cheese

  • Princess, I baked your ziti last night, and it is the best ziti I ever made! The sauce came out great (I used Rienzi tomatoes, which seem to be quite a bit better than some of the other cheapo brands I've bought), but I added red pepper to the sauce while cooking. I also used fresh basil and a little dried oregano in the sauce. I might use shredded mozzarella while mixing everything next time, to make the mozzarella blend a little more smoothly. This was still the best ziti ever! Thanks so much!

  • Awesome!!!

I'm so glad you liked it :)

  • This video is great. This is such an entertaining clip and it makes me so happy. You rock Diana.

  • your such a cute lady!

  • Diana,

Just wanted to let you know that the baked ziti turned out fabulously! Hubby and I just loved it and I will definitely make this again! The goat's cheese and red pepper flakes gave it such great flavor. Thanks so much for this great version of the classic recipe.

  • Dear Diana,

Your cooking videos are wonderful, informative and funny, too! I am going to make your marinara sauce & the baked ziti today...yours looked so delicious that I had to try it myself. I plan on adding pancetta, fresh parsely, parmesean and, of course, the red pepper flakes!

I am not Italian but people always joke with me that I must have been a "Mama" in another life because I love cooking Italian food & everything about Italy.

Thank you and I will continue to try out your recipes!

  • Great! Thanks so much.

  • Diana,

My picky neighbors told me they loved your recipe. I didn't add the mushrooms to theirs as I do to my husband's. I knew they would like it !!

  • That is so great... thanks so much!!!

  • I love your video's and bantering with Frankie. Looking forward to new recipes video taped by you two.

  • Diana--I baked this tonight. Only change was adding fresh sauteed mushrooms . Husband loved it. Thanks for sharing. Still waiting for the neighbors to give me their opinion on the batch (without mushrooms) I gave to them. We love sharing any new recipes we try.

  • Mmmmm, yummy-yummy-yummy. Sauce, cheese, pasta I love it. I swear I'm making that basic sauce tonight. THanks for breaking it down to us once again.

  • Beautiful. Thanks for sharing!

  • i love italian food but thanx 2 u i can make it at home lol

  • that looks nice for real. cheese goes on everything for me and i mainly only eat pasta. im tryin your recipes for real.

  • Why do Italian Americans drop the last vowel when saying words like mozzarella, ricotta, etc? In Italy they pronounce every letter..

  • you answered your own question.

  • rinse the pasta? who is so crazy to do that??? thanks God the is people like you diana on youtube that teach real italian food...I live in Milan and you've got a lot of things right ;) we also do personal version and who cares you know! the important thing is to do it corectly...and you do;) sei grande DIANA!!!
