i own an 04 max sl with the 5spd at (i think) lol its got P, R, D, D3, D2, D1 so why doesnt mine show the gear change when I have it in D3 or does it and I just havnt noticed lol

You know thats impressive. Do you think the HP gains could increase even more on the road due to the fact that their is cold air being forced into the intake from the car actually being in motion?

@thechicagostaleys Unless you are approaching mach 1, not bloody likely. Despite what Pontiac would have you believe, 'RAM AIR' is only a phenomena experienced at or above the speed of sound.

why does it show ur gears changing

@onyx6gmax This was a 3rd gear pull. It only switches to 4th gear at the end, and that's because the automatic transmission forced a shift. The number changes before the shift occurs... not sure why, but if you watch the revs, you can see they continue to climb for 1-2 seconds after the dash says 4th gear.

@AutoAnything my car doesnt digitally show the gears changing it says D when im in drive and D3 when its slapped and 1 and 2 when i slap it down but in D it doesnt show what gear its in ive seen this in a couple maximas was this an auto or manual i could see if it were a manual but ive never seen it in an auto if it is that would be a cool thing if i could figure out how to do it
