Back in tech school we had a kind of "shop" class, but with electronics and stuff and there was always a beige-ish box in a shelf behind us and we wondered what it could be.

One day we asked the teacher what it was and he told us: one of the first notebooks.

Just for good measure the thing was about 4 inches thick, if not even more O_O
