@rkc5150 wow that was lame dude u messed up at the beginning i didnt watch the rest i wish it was good enough to give u 2 stars but ill just give u 1 star
well, actually, I bought the guitar shown in the video, plus an 8 foot MONSTER cable for the guitar, a guitar stand, and a Marshall MG15FX amp for $250! Recently sold this black one to buy the Worn Cherry finish g-400, in my newer videos. It has a great neck binding on it for a classic look. I got that newer one for $200. check out my newer videos to see it
hey you guys know that u can get the g-310 and change pickups right? it will make it sound way nicer lol just get good ones and it will sound nicer then this guitar 310 also has an alder body so get what one u think looks nicer if u are willing to change pickups and like 310's look it will be better
I had a 310 with Gibson pickups in it(see my other videos, it was white). Yes it sounded much better than the epi pickups, but the guitar sucked, never staying in tune. do yourself a favor and spend an extra $100 and get a 400. MUCH better guitar overall.
i have the 400 too, it was an easy choice against the 310 for me, because i saw the brilliant white finish on the limited edition epiphone sg 400, and it caught my eye. the only thing kinda new to me was the long neck, because it protruded out of the body a couple inches more than a usual SG
depends on how much money you have to spend. You have the squier, which would be comparable to the 310, I think. If you need it now, then get the 310.... it's a nice guitar, but it's also cheap. If you can save up a little more, get the g-400. It's so much better than the 310. the 310 never stayed in tune for me, but it was good for an entry level guitar. GOOD LUCK!
i own a g-310 and a g-400. my advice is. save up. the problems i had with the 310 dissapeared with the g-400. tuners, dead frets etc... the g 400 sounds better, no dead frets, stays in tune for weeks at a time. not only that, it doesn't have the stupid dot inlays, and it has a set neck wheras the 310 has a bolt on. if you buy the 310 you will end up buying a g 400 to replace it within a year like a did. with epiphone, never get the cheaper ones, cause you will buy a higher end one within a year.
craiglist... and it came with an amp too! and a stand and a hard shell case too. I couldn't pass it up. I learned this song by ear a long time ago. one of the 1st Van Halen songs I learned, but there are tons of tabs at ultimate-guitar (website). Thanks for watching.
Wow, lucky you! The best I could find was a SG-310 for $115 and a Valve Jr. Amp for $75.
Thanks for the videos, I wasn't sure if the SG-400 was a little over hyped, but comparing them on the same song by the same player really demonstrates how much better the 400 is over the 310.
the one with the g310 sounded WAY better,i konw it had gibson pickups but i like the feel of the g310 alot better then the g400..idk thats my opinion...oh and on another note i played the gibson sg faded its great whatare u talkin about???
Didn't like the neck on the special gibson. the neck was too thick for my liking. to each his own I guess. I just didn't think Gibson was justified charging what they were for the special. thanks for watching and thank for the comment. Rock on....
Have you tried one? (the special faded) I know it's a Gibson, but man those are junk. The neck is so thick it feels like you're playing a 2-by-4 ! ;) My advice, if you can, go to a guitar shop and try both side by side in the same amp. You could get the Epi 400 and throw some Gibson 498 / 490 pickups in it and it would be better, in my opinion. Good luck, and post a video when you get it... whichever you get! Thanks for watching. Special is WAY overpriced!
Good job on it. Your tone was good too.

Thanks for the vid. It sounds great, but I think I'm gonna go with the Gibson SG Special Faded, (been saving up for forever).
