where do you get the "init patch", the preset you use on every synth?

@Tansubox right click on the synth you want to initialize, right click on it, and click on initialize patch. This will make you have the 'init patch' sound :)

You can't get the same sounds out of redrum, and Dr Rex is for playing loops.

Maybe you could record .wav files of each drum and then put them in redrum.

I found another video that said.. Use a techno drum kit in redrum, and run that through the Scream 4 and twist the twisty to the digital one, and turn the resolution down.

The problem is, you end up with massive distortion, and if all the other instruments you're using are a bit dirty, it makes the whole song muddy and it's tough to fix with mastering.

when you initialize a device in reason you simply reset all the settings to default settings, just right-click on the device and click initialize patch. 8 bit is how many bits are recorded in one sample.

This is only true 8 bit if he worked with it in 8 bit or decreased the bitdepth afterwards.
