did you get the helmet mounted go pro? Or the motorsport? Getting ready to take this same trip next week, and not sure which one to order...I have a Softail that has a little vibration, but not too bad...
I purchased the motorsports package. It comes with those black sticky mounts (which are almost invisible on my helmet) and articulating segments. I used these to get the left side helmet mount you see in the video. I am happy with the choice.
Extra card's sound like a must have. Going back here for a 4th time but with a GoPro this time. Camera coming shortly and Ride is in June 2012 so plenty of time to play. Thank's for the info.
Is the 720 setting better than 1020 for filming on the Bike? Seen over 100 bike Video's on YouTube and your's are some of sharpest. Getting the same camera and can't wait to start mounting it on different place's of my bike.
The 720p is lower resolution than 1080p. I chose that because it was an 8 day trip and I only had one 32Gig SD card. I did not want to risk overfilling or not being able to record some more stunning scenery. This was shot pretty early in the morning also, so the extra contrast on the hill sides may have added to the clarity and overall quality.
You are gonna love it! I can't wait to shoot more!

Super clear Video. What Camera did you use?

@Hippie18ify
I used the standard GoPro camera. It's recording at 720p and is capable of shooting up to 1080p.
