This looks like the MMO I've been waiting for since UO went to shit years ago. Can anybody tell me:

1. Does everybody pretty much end up with the same skills in the end in order to be good at PvP or is there a lot of variety?

2. Does the world feel populated in most areas?

3. Does this run well through Bootcamp? (Or are there any plans to make a Mac version, possibly through Cider?)

1 - Generally the same template, however what skills you end up using in combat always changes depending on who you are fighting, the terrain you're in, if you get the jump on the person or if you are surprised, on how many you are fighting, etc.. very dynamic.

2 - Newbie cities are generally quite populated now, some player cities are deserted if they have little of value.

3 - I'm not sure.

I hope they make the environments you can build your ciities in more interesting and alive. I don't want to build my home in a city that's on barren bland land. In shadowbane hte player ciites were on a moonscape with a few isolated trees. If you want people to fill your world, you better make that world interesting!!!

Rivers, falls, flora, trees, rocks, cliffs, animals, etc. Those things are fun and make the environment fun to live in.

While Darkfall has many many many problems, it has more potential than any other MMO out there.

They have a huge beautiful world. They have created a fantastic sandbox, now they just need to keep adding toys to the sandbox.

Every patch so far has moved the game in the right direction. This will be a slow burner just like EVE was. Check back in a year and it will be awesome.

even though ive played darkfall since build 2 (launch day)....i found that very entertaining and it reminded me a lot of my beginning days.

its a great game, with intense pvp action.
