Del IS the guy "from Gorillaz". Gorillaz is a virtual band, though, and he doesn't appear on all their tracks. He does collaborate with Gorillaz though (and so does around 50 other artists). Check Wikipedia for more info.

He continually appears in their songs, and even though it's a collaboration, he does take on the role as one of the virtual characters in the band, actually making him part of the VIRTUAL band. When you refer to the real life band members, there are only two, and Del is not one of them.
