To all the foolish people: If you want to hear the studio version, go find it and leave this one alone. Chocobos have been a whimsical part of FF from the beginning. These guys are giving a great homage by making the song fun and light and not taking it too seriously. I don't think it would sound right any other way.

So far this concert is great, but damn, Uematsu did make incredibe music for five other Final Fantasy games before FFVI so lets hear it. There is only so much FFVII and VIII I can listen to before I want to hear a bit of old school variety.

In my opinion, the chocobo theme has become a staple of final fantasy games. Like every game has a few chocobo songs with nearly the exact same beat. They never get old though... odd.

They really should make a remake. Since its a considered one of the best RPGs, they probably will, in the future. I guess because of the current FF12 raves, and problems with the recreation of the ATB system if there was a remake would stifle its production.
